Museo del Far de Tossa is located on the top of the castel and also you have a fantastic view over the sea and old town. Very nice place and very quite especially at night. Unfortunately the museum was closed when I was there...maybe next time :)

It's nice to see the Far in the night, a little museum is in the lighthouse in Tossa de Mar, times ago it was a windmill on the same place; you see old objects of the lighthouse, light bulbs of the fisher; from here you have a fantastic view over the sea, the castle and the old town.

I went on holiday with my family and the beach was very clean and there was a lot of water activities to enjoy - such a glass boat ride, boat trips to different islands - such as Lorett de Mar. The shopping is plentiful in this area - and if you go up to the lighthouse/castle - the views are... More

A museum located in the old lighthouse in Tossa de Mar, a little and charm town located in La Costa Brava, one of the more beautiful coastal areas in Catalonia. It is located in the upper part of the old town and for this reason from here you can see a beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. In the museum,... More

Perhaps the visiting of the museum is for those, who are interesting in the marine navigation. Unfortunately I am not one of them and the visit was a little boring for me. I recommend to take a cup of coffee, a cold beer or a glass of wine at the small restaurant in front of the museum, right above the... More

The museum sits under the wall of the castle and will cost a few euros entrance. There are a few Roman and medieval items on display but mainly the museum has a small collection of paintings. There does not seem to be any theme and the small leaflet does not go into details. However some of the items do have... More
