Our hotel was next door to to Els Ametllers Roman Villa. We visited it a few times. The site is well looked after and is well preserved. Great views of the town. I found the visit very interesting and it free to enter.

Lovely mosaic floors and gardens can be seen at this once impressive roman villa and warehouse, It is a little steep to get to the upper terrace for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Access is free from 10am and closes early evening. Sadly...More

An interesting Roman Villa site 5 minutes walk from Golden Bahir hotel. Not very well maintained sadly but still worth seeing.

Not something that I would go out of the way for. Stumbled upon it when walking from the bus station so that was a bonus. Not much to see but a few signs explaining the history

How many places in the world can you see Roman ruins for free. These ruins are never busy and make a welcome break away from the beach and the shops.

We found this site on the way down to the beach from the bus station. Although small, the villa was an interesting find. The intricacy of the mosaics is worth looking at and in each area, there is a information stand explaining the purpose of...More
