We thought that the villa was in a superb location with views over Tossa There were just two mosaic floors and also walls surrounding the different rooms all of which were labelled with explanations

Lovely mosaic floors and gardens can be seen at this once impressive roman villa and warehouse, It is a little steep to get to the upper terrace for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Access is free from 10am and closes early evening. Sadly vandals have smashed fences and some of the glass tiles since our last visit which... More

This is free of charge and well worth seeing, it is easily accessible to anyone staying in or adjacent to the town. The mosaics are amazing and mainly intact. However, we visited in October and there was no information of the boards about each of the rooms - perhaps they take this off in the low season. The site seemed... More

The most impressive mosaic has been removed to the local museum and there is a facsimile in it's place. There are some information boards at the site. I think the site could do with a bit of TLC generally but that... More

An interesting Roman Villa site 5 minutes walk from Golden Bahir hotel. Not very well maintained sadly but still worth seeing.

Not something that I would go out of the way for. Stumbled upon it when walking from the bus station so that was a bonus. Not much to see but a few signs explaining the history

How many places in the world can you see Roman ruins for free. These ruins are never busy and make a welcome break away from the beach and the shops.
