Kayking is a must when visiting fjords! Totally worth the money, even though it might feel a bit pricey (for 1-day rental of double kayak we spent a bit less than 2.000 NOK). I am really happy we chose Njord kayak rental, the instructor was really nice and give us instructions regarding kayak use and safety on the spot. Although we never went kayaking before, it was a great experience for us and we spet almost 6 hours on the water. The views are marvellous! We got all necessary equipment and went all the way to Undredal. If you want to go further and aren't experienced in kayaking, I would recommend at least 2-day rental (especially if you want to go from Aurlandsfjord to Nærøyfjord). Be sure to book in advance, I wanted firstly to book a tour (a month in advance) but it was sold out - however, it was even better to go alone at the end in my opinion. I really recommed this to everyone visiting Flåm.

We called at the last minute asking for a morning kayak with a group of 15, and the owner called us back an hour later saying he had managed to get one of his guides to come in especially to take us out. He came and picked us up to show us where to meet and to sign the paperwork and he even gave the students the opportunity to come paddle board. John did a fantastic job with our multi-leveled group, and we all had a great time exploring the fjord. It was nothing short of magical. Our students convinced John to try some acrobatics for their amusement, and he very sportingly was the only one of us to arrive home soaking wet. Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

We had an amazing day with our guide Erwin. Started the tour with a thorough introduction, and as we were both new to kayaking that made us feel very comfortable and secure. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Flåm, even if you’ve never set foot in a kayak before.

An unforgettable summer highlight in Norway!

A three-day fjord kayak excursion with two nights of wild camping was pure magic ✨.

Our guides Sergey and Savanna ensured a safe and comfortable journey. They provided all the essentials (also food), leaving us to bring only personal items and a positive attitude!

We explored Undredal village, Dyrdal, and enjoyed two stunning hikes with breathtaking views.

We were lucky with the weather and calm fjords. The second night's camping spot was beyond words. It rained a little in the evening, but we were all cosy under a tarp for dinner and some socializing 😄

We rented kayaks from Njord Kayak Centre for 9 days and they provided an excellent service from start to finish. In advance of our trip, they helped us plan a route. When we arrived, everything was ready and they helped ensure we had all the equipment we needed. At the end of our trip, they were very helpful in arranging collection. They even then helped transport us and our gear back to our accommodation.

Overall, the service was beyond expectations. A thoroughly good company to rent from.

The trip itself was incredible. The Fjords are stunning. A real adventure. It is well worth renting for a multi-day trip.

Went on a days trip kayak and hike with Ervin and Bartek. Amazing experience from A to Z. Guides were so easygoing, easy to talk to, and they had a real professionalism to them as well. No BS safety information as well as knowledgable about the area (as a Norwegian myself I learned a ton of new stuff). Awesome food, perfect length of both kayaking as a novice and hike as a semi(or non....) active person. Excellent fully electric ferries with total view of the fjords surrounding flåm, Nærøyfjord etc.

We were lucky to get a spot on their kayak course on just a weeks notice, we checked pricing, loaction and what was in the course from several kayak courses. But I have to say I’m really, really happy we got spot in this one. Erwin, our instructor was calm and thourough with a good sense of humor, and best of all, it was sincire and natural. The cours gave us a very good starting point for our future kayaking journy and the landscape and weather was nothing but breathtaking. The course was very good for me as a beginner and the few that had some prior experiance seemed to enjoy it just as much and pick up lots of tips and skills. We also got to rent a few kayakas for our friends to enjoy after the course with them. An easy 5 star recommendation from me.

The guides, the whole organisation of the tour with enough food for the whole day, good equipment, great moments with the Kayak and a nice hike and of course astonishing views! The knowledge the guide had about the places we visited was simply impressive. Super nice people. The price is totally worth it! We had an individual tour with no other people and there were 2 guides, the service for this price was extremelely good and fair.

We greatly enjoyed our kayak excursion with Webby. He wrangles participants into their surprisingly effective water repelling gear with a minimum of fuss, explains procedures well, is patient with newbies, and tells great stories during the three hour paddle. We had sudden gusts on the return trip and paddling became more challenging. Webby towed one kayak for a bit until its passengers got the hang of things, encouraged everyone along the way, and brought us home safely in good cheer.

Outstanding kayak trip! Webber led a group of six of us on a three hour excursion, peaceful and beautiful way to experience the fjords. Easy paddling, very safe and great equipment. But Webber was the highlight - full of stories, funny asides and making sure everyone was engaged and enjoying themselves. Been on a few kayak tours, and this was the best by far.
