Had a good ride up on this single seat chairlift. There is a stop mid-way where you get off and get on another lift to the top. The ride back down can be scary for those afraid of heights. Situated about 20 mins out of town this lift wasn’t on the signposts at first, but is straightforward to find. This single chair lift is a fabulous way to go up a mountain. The staff are friendly and helpful, the ride up is peaceful and the views are amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back next time we are in the area.…

Since I live in Kufstein I bought a 'Kufstein Card' with which one can take as many rides as one wants in one year with the 'Kaiserlift'. Even if you don't live in Kufstein but are staying there long or often come to Kufstein you can buy the 'Kufstein Card'. It is so peaceful and beautiful, but really, really slow. It takes almost 30 min. to go from the bottom to the top so this must be accounted for. Breathtaking and in some places far away from the ground. It is a single seat life so you might need some courage if you are afraid of heights although there really isn't anything to fear. You can even bring your dog along, either on your lap or in a separate cage. And, since there is a stopover at the middle, you can even combine the lift with some hiking. Absolutely fabulous!!…
