Visited both the manor and the pavilion(at the entrance, separate tickets). I would highly recommend to also take the guided tour at the manor (20 Ron extra, pretty cheap) because the guide was very nice and explained us everything. It is a very nice place and the objects exposed are impressive.

Very nice place, a reminder of an old family of Romania (Bellu). There is 2 separate buildings that you can visit. Especially the manor is full of very nice furniture while the wntrance buiding has a lot of pictures made by Alexandru Bellu, one of the first romanian photographer

The old house is just stunning and also the inside (you can't take photos) is extraordinary. It takes you back in time to aristrocracy era. The furniture and paintings are exquisite. Be sure to visit this and also the gazebo at the base of the road. The Bellu Manor and Conacul Bellu are basically the same attraction. The gazebo and the manor are two different attractions.

It is a great manor, very well maintained. A place full of history. It belongs to the Romanian Academy and probably this saved a lot of the paitings and furniture collection. Staff is not exactly what you expect. And we could not visit the tower at the entrance just bacause the lady who was supposed to guide us refused to come.
The Academy must do more that such a treasure to get more visitors.

There are two areas that can be visited: 1. the museum at the entrance gate and 2. the manor located few minutes apart. As I went there just one hour before closure time , I chose to visit only the house. I had enjoyed every moment spent there, as the place is full of interesting objects and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and succeeded to keep the interest of my too kids showing at highest (showed them hidden places backed by interesting stories) . Please be aware that in case you want to visit both objectives, you need to pay the entrance fee for each of them. Also, as the manor is placed on the "wine road" , you can check the events they are organising and try the local wine. Do not miss - you will not regret spending some time there!

This place is quite famous in the region and it stands up to its reputation. It represents the standing part of a larger domain - this is part of the story from the museum staff, there are many other interesting details. Beyond the elegance of the buildings, the feeling of the personal objects, we were impressed by the connections between the owner family and other important events/people/places. Romania has lost all this unfortunately, together with its economical power after the Second World War..

This is a rare find - a beautiful, traditional home fully furnished with wonderful items from a wealthy family. To see it all in the place it was intended to be placed is so interesting. It's not a large home but I think it is one of the nicest museums that I saw in 2 weeks of touring Romania because it feels very personal. The guide was a lovely lady who obviously loved working there and talking about the Bellu family and their history. It is near some wonderful wineries so take in this museum while in the region. Beautiful.

Beautifully preserved traditional Romanian manor: this place is a real discovery for me.
The museum is wonderful, full of pieces of furniture, art and decoration donated by the Bellu family. It was a very nice surprise, it has a lot to show and it is a pity to miss it if you are around.
We should really try to promote and show more this kind of great places that we have.

If you want to see a building/manor built in old Romanian stile this is present itself as a very good opportunity. It is very well preserved, it is very close from Bucharest. The fee is almost nothing - 1.8 euro.

Really wonderful building, well kept! It is one of the most interesting things to see in this area, known for the wineries.
It is is in the region where the best Romanian red wines come from.
