Conacul acesta a fost o adevarata surpriza. Nu ne asteptam sa fie atat de frumos si sa ascunda asemena comori in interior: colectiile de arta ale lui Alexandru Bellu, mobila originala, carti valoroase. Ghidul este foare profesionist si pasionat si ne-a introdus in atmosfera epocii, oferindu-ne informatii interesante. Merita cu siguranta drumul de o ora cu masina din Bucuresti.
This is a true hidden gem. The building architecture is beautiful and inside you will find a great collection of art, paintings and original furniture. The guide was very professional and introduced us to the history of the mansion and the lifestyle of Alexandru Bellu. It’s just one hour drive from Bucharest and it is totally worth the time.

The old house is just stunning and also the inside (you can't take photos) is extraordinary. It takes you back in time to aristrocracy era. The furniture and paintings are exquisite. Be sure to visit this and also the gazebo at the base of the road.

At Bellu Mansion you will find a heritage of plastic and decorative art, extraordinary authentic folk costumes, tools, nineteenth-century Romanian carpets, photographs, rare books in luxury editions, 19th century paintings, style furniture from various Epoch, oriental art and collectible weapons. It is a surprising museum through the richness of the exhibits and the dedication of the staff.

Lovely place to visit, a gem close to Bucharest with a very interesting insight in the life of the noblemen from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th.

Worth an 1-2h detour from Bucharest-Sinaia route.

It is really nice place to visit. We got interesting guided tour in the house and in the wine cellar. They do not have their own wine yet, but are planning to deal with that in the future. It was really kind of the guide, that he organized us the possibility to buy some local wine from a wine factory near by. If you are travelling with children, there is a playground in the park as well.

This place can be considered one of the elements necessary for the integration of the concept of wine tourism in the Great Hill.
The Bellu family mansion, now owned by the Romanian Academy, is a place full of history, an idyllic place that deserves to transcend you, imagining the life of wealthy people.
The Ottoman chamber and cellar are special.
Do not miss the watchtower.
A nice place I recommend
