The Shyamrai Temple (also known as Panchchura Temple), built by Malla King Raghunath Singha in 1643 AD, is the best example in brick of Pancharatna type, i.e., five shikharas on a curved Bengal chala roof. Its terracotta panels are also noteworthy. It is one of...More

See the beautiful etchings of Krishna Leela on the walls. Most of the temple is cordoned off for tourists which is actually good for the maintenance of the structure. Glimpse into the artistic heritage of Bengal.

Another temple in Bishnupur which is a must see is this one. It is amazing to see such beautiful structure be created out of terracotta slabs. Set on a square platform, this temple is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is very picturesque.
