A must do if visiting Montrichard😍

absolutely brilliant, we had brunch this was a birthday treat but would definitely do this again and would definitely try the evening trip. Lovely lady in charge who can speak some english if your french is as bad as ours.
Very relaxing as you dip your feet in the water whist eating lovely traditional food and a glass of local wine.
Definitely a must do.❤

Merrily, merrily gently down the stream...life is but a dream

This was a surprise birthday lunch organised by three of my friends and what a good idea it was. We set off from Montrichard and sailed for an hour and a half on the Cher river up to the lock and sluice gates at Bourré and then back. The weather wasn’t perfect, it was quite cloudy and a storm was brewing. The seafood platter was perfect with crab, a selection of prawns and crayfish. If you don’t like seafood they will replace with a cold plate. I will definitely go again.
