You can get really close to the animals here, there are many view points where you can look into the enclosures which is great. There is also a wide variety of animals including white lions (which we had never seen before!), white tigers, lynx, red panda’s, monkeys and more. Very impressed and well worth the money.

A lovely zoo with big enclosures and plenty of places for humans, as well as animals, to shelter from the rain. We watched a keeper feed the penguins, Arctic foxes and lemurs, and spent some time stroking the goats. There's a restaurant and small fast food café, plus a gift shop with something for everyone, and all the staff were very welcoming.

This is a lovely, small zoo. The animals looked relaxed and we got quite close to a lot of them. Food was a bit expensive.

We decided to visit this zoo after reading the reviews. September is obviously out of tourist season and the zoo was very quiet. This made the visit very enjoyable as we were able to spend time looking at the animals with out the crowds. We spent just over 2 hours here, this was down to there not being any shows/demonstrations and it was very quiet. I would think 4 hours in peak season would be a reasonable amount of time to spend here. The only downside was the admission price of 18 euros each. I did feel this was a little steep as there was no demonstrations and the cafe/restaurant was closed. The animals appeared to be well kept and there were good viewing areas. The lions and European wolves were our favourites, the parrot enclosures were nice too as you could get close to the birds.

Best zoo I’ve ever been to for sure! Large park, we spent around 3/4 hours there wondering around. So many different animals to see and so well looked after. Their enclosures were large, different types of terrains and contours to suit each animal. We went into the Leamer enclosure, held some reptiles and fed the giraffes which was nice! Best enclosures I’ve ever seen and lots of lovely animals.
