Visited the park on a Tuesday and it was perfect, not too many people. Place is clean and well maintained, the staff is very friendly. Only downside was getting there. We took public transport until Mogyorod which was very smooth, unfortunately once there, no taxis were available (on the spot or by phone) and the bus runs very infrequently so we ended up walking to the park. There is however a bus from the city to the park, but it wasn’t obvious during our research.

If you are ever in Hungary, this is well worth a visit if you have children. The water park is right next to the Hungarian F1 race circuit, so it's built to cope with crowds. It is not that well publicised for tourists, but it's a hidden gem. Loads of slides, some unique ideas, a lazy river, a brilliant children's pool and best of all, great weather. Hungary enjoys some very hot summer weather and the temperature can reach nearly 40 degrees C, so it's perfect for cooling off. Well worth a visit - you just have to find it first!

We visited Aquarena as a party of 2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 8 and 4. The water park is all outdoors so only enjoyable on a nice day (which lucky we had). There are plenty of slides to choose from which the kids especially enjoyed. Plenty of places to pop your towel down or get a sunbed. The toilets and changing areas were nice and clean although sadly the kids pool was closed the day we stayed which slightly spoiled the day for my 4 year old. The food was as expected for such a place: pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream but was good. Slightly overpriced but again as expected. I thought the day pass was a little expensive (especially as my 4 year old couldnt use the kids pool) but not too much. You have to top up your wrist band to pay for items which is different to Aquaworld where you charge items to your wrist band and pay on departure. This meant we did have to top it up a few times during the day. You do get any unused amount back as you leave. A good day all in all, not sure we will be back though. If slides is your thing, I would recommend though, if you like a nice relaxing day then Aquaworld is better.

A great water park, we purchased a raft so we would not have to wait so long for the park owned rafts, this makes it possible to get many more trips down the shutes instead of standing in line waiting. The park is a little difficult to get to if you do not have a car, sometimes there is a taxi waiting at the station that runs back and forth all day long, I think it cost 1200HUF for the round trip, it is a long walk from the train station if the taxi is not available. We will go again next trip to Budapest. thanks

If you stay in Budapest more than 3-4 days, and if it's summertime, I think it's a great fun to go to this aquapark especially with children. It is an all day program, and you can reach this place with bus, but I think it's better to go with your own car.

We visited the aquapark before our trip to the Sziget festival (it's only 25km from the center of Budapest) and had a good time. Lots of slides and almost no waiting, even on a hot and busy day.
The park works with a pre-paid wristband system and offers you drinks, ice-cream and food. Best off it al was that the park has a separate camping site which was quite cheap, so we decided to stay there overnight (thumbs up for the cleanliness of the camping facilities!).

If I ever would be back in that region, I'd definitely re-visit the park!

We have been to Mogyorod Aquapark in a sunny day during our vacation with my family in Hungary. The Aquarena has a lot of slides, which gave a wonderful pastime to my children as well as to adults in the group. In nutshell, it was a really big fun for all of us. P.S.: Cafeteria is an absolutely not worth to go category.

We were he about 3 weeks ago w my family and friends. There arent too much people here because of the 22 Celsius.. There are a many type of waterslides. 2 restaurants so you can eat here. You can cliff jump from 1 or 3 meters high to the water. So basically if you here in Budapest dont miss this place. Szabi

Helyenként nagyon veszélyes, képzetlen személyzet, kezdik elhanyagolni
, igazi "magyar hozzáállás"
Quite dangerous place by place. Uneducated staff, started to neglect the renewals, real "Hungarian approach"
