First of all I have to highlight that the waterpark itself and the slides are absolutely okay. But the food service was the worst I’ve ever seen in Hungary - we literally waited 2 hours (without any shadow in the queue) to get to the only one working bar in the whole Aquarena, where hundreds of hungry people waited to be able to get food. The staff there did not put any effort to speed up he process - after all they are getting paid the same amount at the end of the day… This was my 3rd time at Aquarena Mogyorod but definitely the last for a while.

The campsite for grand prix is a absolute joke. No authority at all. Very loud music (it was constant boom boom boom, like being at a rave or festival) playing till after 3am then started again at 7am. I'm aware people want to enjoy their selves by drinking and playing music but this was ridiculous. It was meant to be one of the quiet campsites not a lads drinking, rave, stag do. There were families with young children. It was disrespectful and upsetting to all other campsite users as nothing was done even after several complaints made to the so called Manager(if that was the manager he clearly has no idea about decision making or rules and regulations) so clearly we got no where. Apparently these lads/grown men go every year,(but that does give them the right to behave like animals, and also if that's the case why were they put right in the middle of the site and be allowed to disturb everyone else.
People have paid well earned money (probs saved up for nearly a year like we did) to enjoy the experience of the F1 and camping and it's a shame that few quite large groups are allowed to spoil it. People slag the English fans off all the time but honestly these lads beat the English by a long way.
Would not recommend at all.
We left after one horrendous night and found somewhere else. We really shouldn't of had to do that
Very upset as this was not the experience we were expecting.

The restaurant is HORRIBLE!! We had to wait an hour for our food, and waited in line for half an hour. My friend wasn’t even able to order food. How is that possible with hundreads of people in the Aquaréna daily. Please do better!!!

A great water park, we purchased a raft so we would not have to wait so long for the park owned rafts, this makes it possible to get many more trips down the shutes instead of standing in line waiting. The park is a little difficult to get to if you do not have a car, sometimes there is a taxi waiting at the station that runs back and forth all day long, I think it cost 1200HUF for the round trip, it is a long walk from the train station if the taxi is not available. We will go again next trip to Budapest. thanks

If you stay in Budapest more than 3-4 days, and if it's summertime, I think it's a great fun to go to this aquapark especially with children. It is an all day program, and you can reach this place with bus, but I think it's better to go with your own car.

We visited the aquapark before our trip to the Sziget festival (it's only 25km from the center of Budapest) and had a good time. Lots of slides and almost no waiting, even on a hot and busy day.
The park works with a pre-paid wristband system and offers you drinks, ice-cream and food. Best off it al was that the park has a separate camping site which was quite cheap, so we decided to stay there overnight (thumbs up for the cleanliness of the camping facilities!).
If I ever would be back in that region, I'd definitely re-visit the park!

We visited Aquarena as a party of 2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 8 and 4. The water park is all outdoors so only enjoyable on a nice day (which lucky we had). There are plenty of slides to choose from which the kids especially enjoyed. Plenty of places to pop your towel down or get a sunbed. The toilets and changing areas were nice and clean although sadly the kids pool was closed the day we stayed which slightly spoiled the day for my 4 year old. The food was as expected for such a place: pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream but was good. Slightly overpriced but again as expected. I thought the day pass was a little expensive (especially as my 4 year old couldnt use the kids pool) but not too much. You have to top up your wrist band to pay for items which is different to Aquaworld where you charge items to your wrist band and pay on departure. This meant we did have to top it up a few times during the day. You do get any unused amount back as you leave. A good day all in all, not sure we will be back though. If slides is your thing, I would recommend though, if you like a nice relaxing day then Aquaworld is better.

We have been to Mogyorod Aquapark in a sunny day during our vacation with my family in Hungary. The Aquarena has a lot of slides, which gave a wonderful pastime to my children as well as to adults in the group. In nutshell, it was a really big fun for all of us. P.S.: Cafeteria is an absolutely not worth to go category.

We were he about 3 weeks ago w my family and friends. There arent too much people here because of the 22 Celsius.. There are a many type of waterslides. 2 restaurants so you can eat here. You can cliff jump from 1 or 3 meters high to the water. So basically if you here in Budapest dont miss this place. Szabi

Hello i would want to ask how many pools are There in the aquarena, when we count only pools where we can swim? Thank you.
Written August 3, 2019
There is not realtime a swimming pool, only baths where the solides end and a relaxing yacuzi. There isn’t like a 50m pool where You can swim to train or something like that.
