Rocks, river, hard and soft sand with two bars on beach front. Suitable for surfing and wave jumping. Lovely clean water
Glorious go see for yourself!

Playa De Luaña is picturesque, relatively big, and good for swimming and offers a few nice restaurants. Nevertheless, the area is reasonable quite and beach was not crowded in early July. Good parking available.

A very pleasant location. A sandy beach about 100m wide between cliffs. There are two cafes and a shower. When the wind is right it's really fun to mess about in the breakers and at low tide there's a sort of lagoon that is excellent for toddlers.

The beach is patrolled by Cruz Roja Española lifeguards.

Try to avoid it in the weekends. The parking lot is not so big and gets full easily.
The beach gets plenty of room wit low tide. Try to get the prediction, e.g.:

Super, quiet little beach with a couple of cafés adjacent and a huge car park. 90% sand with a few big bolders. Wooden boardwalk around one edge. Free showers.

We arrived later in the afternoon and just enjoyed having an ice cream, sitting on the small boardwalk and watching the surfers at sea waiting for waves. Lovely!

This beach is a little gem 1 km away from Cobreces, not very crowded, somewhat windy but with nice, clean sand and surrounded by rocks and trees. Parking and a few bars available nearby.

We did some research before making our way to this beach as we had our young daughter with us and wanted to make sure it would be safe for her. It was busy, as suggested, when we arrived at midday so we parked on a track at the top of the hill. If we went again we would try to arrive earlier so we could park in the main car park. However, it was only short walk down the hill and well worth it. Plenty of space on the clean beach so we set up 'camp' near to the shallow river which allowed our daughter to dig and splash around safely. The sea was warm (20 degrees) with seaweed free entrances. It was sandy throughout and a gentle incline into the sea but the waves were too big and noisy for our young daughter. Great for slightly older children and teens who were enjoying bodyboarding and surfing. The two bars/restaurants behind the beach looked busy but we didn't frequent them. Much fun had!

Nice little beach, with some services. Hotel, restaurant closed when we were there (spring, middle of the week)

isited this beach again after many years and i still love it. there is plenty of room so you are not sitting on top of each other. the waves are fun and when the tide is low the children love the lagoon. you can always find a quieter part. there are good amenities i.e showers toilets and too lovely cafe/restaurants
