Kedleston Hall with its grand Palladian facade and in my opinion the finest entrance hall, the Marble Hall, of any NT property, 20 columns of Derbyshire marble, depicting a classical Roman scene. This was a chance to wander at ease with friends who live nearby,...More

Beautifully presented and very clean. We were fortunate in having a sunny day so enjoyed refreshments in the garden. Only downside-the public toilets were very unpleasant

Called in for lunch, filter coffees good. Jacket potato with tuna mayo also good. Lamb stew not warm enough, put right quickly by staff so ok. Staff friendly and helpful will go when house is open ( not open Friday).

Entrance to Keddleston is up a long drive and halfway up there are two usually volunteers asking and checking your NT membership card. If you aren't a member you have to pay. The tea room is ok but very small.
