The beautiful reservoir of Doyang Hydro Project near Wokha can be seen from the distant hills as far as Mokokchung district. It is the catchment of Dhansiri river in Assam. It is a good place to spot the migratory Amur falcons from central Asia.

There is no hotels or guesthouse near Doyang dam or Pangti but you are welcome to pitch a tent and camp near Pangti with just a notice to the GB. They allow this especially during October when the Amur Eagles come to roost... More
