This is the oldest and richest monastery in Leh region. You will get a chance to experience peace, culture and amazing scenic view. In Oct’18 when I went the museum was closed due to winter.

Around 45 Kms from Leh enroute Manali or Nubra comes this very old and beautiful place. A 7 Km drive from the main road is an experience in itself. It hosts a Museum and Gompa (Temple) alongwith school. Peaceful place with superb paintinings.
