You have to bring your own food and water. It is built in twelve century by Reddy Dynasty. It is nearly 13 kilometers from west of Guntur.

Good place to see One should go there and also see guntur city and taste the pepper there lol I had a Good Hospitality at Amaravathi hotel in Guntur too..You may try it

entire historical fort is being connected by ghat road. Nearby there is agood temple of lord krishna with a ball of butter , known locally VENNAMUDDALA BALA KRISHNA.The temple is being reconsructred by ISCON awith a budget of 500 crors
