What an amazing bay in South WA. So Mediterranean. I’ve loved it! Beautiful pine trees, rocks and clear water. Just like paradise !

Splendid beach with safe areas to practice diving or swimming. And good rocks to clamber over. Lovely

This is a great beach which is patrolled. The water is crystal clear and has facilities. There is a boardwalk to the beach and is easily accessible. There is no kiosk although there is a restaurant.

This coastline is just magnificent. Lovely blue ocean. Beach is nice and open, certainly not crowded.

A 20 minute drive from Dunsborough town centre to this crescent curved beach has white sand and fringed with natural bush. There are changing rooms and toilets at the carpark and deck ramp down to the sand. Swim, walk or just enjoy the picturesque scene....More

Fresh and fabulous food with a cracker view. Whale watching in the right months. Try the Pablo encrusted whiting in fresh ciabatta.

None of the beaches we visited were a disappointment. Bunker Bay was another beautiful beach with barely a sole on it.

What a beautiful spot! Scenery is stunning and water colour amazing. You could certainly spend hours just taking in the vista.

Beautiful spot down in the Margaret River region, nice calm quiet bay and beautiful sandy beaches. Amazing spot just to relax, chill on the beach and go for a swim.

Hi, my husband and I are heading to Margaret River for 25th anniversary break and have booked 3 nights at Pullman Resort Bunker Bay and we then have another 3 nights in the region before heading back to Perth for 3 nights. I have been looking at Seashells in Yallingup for the other 3 nights but is it a bit close to Bunker Bay and should I be looking further south? Any suggestions? We like beach holidays but am open to something in MR town also.

Thanks very much for your info, have decided to stay in MR township (as you said AJ, what about a nice B&B in the MR township where dinner out is just a short stroll away?) Do you have any recommendations for us of B&B or apartments in town..?
Pemberton back to Perth (7 Replies)
Hi there, I am looking for advice on what to do after spending Sunday in Pemberton. I have a night in Pemberton booked on the Saturday before, and then a night in Perth booked for Monday night. I have already explored around the coastal part (Busselton, Bunker Bay and in Margaret River area now), so am looping back round via Augusta to Pemberton. Do you think it's worth spending an extra night in Pemberton? Or is there another good spot to stop at between there and Perth and then also...More

What kind of things do you like? Give us some information to help us help you - are you travelling as couple/alone, with hire car/reliant on public transport? Happy to answer questions but its just a bit broad to be able to help you yet.

Whales (5 Replies)
Last weekend (16/17th August), we took the short hike from Shelley Beach, just north of Bunker Bay, around Cape Naturalist. We spotted three Humpbacks, mother and calf and a separate single animal. As we hiked we saw tail flukes, breaches....pretty nice. So they are there already. The early wildflowers, mostly whites and yellows, are blooming well too. There was about 30 New Zealand fur seals basking in the water. So if you 're in the Dunsborough area, Its definitely worth getting out there...More
