Excellent nature hike in the forest mountains. A little difficult to find the start of the trail but there is a board with map that you will drive past to tell you where to start. Enjoyable to be in the shaded forests when it is hot elsewhere in the summer. No crowds and peaceful.

Our GPS and cell signals worked on and off, so we go lost getting there, but once we found it, the hike was amazing.
So we had a late start and we were a bit in a rush. The beginning of the trail there were some high sharp grass so high socks or pants can be useful.
Trails are beautiful, peaceful, clean, not populated at all but well marked. As a matter of fact, we were the only ones there. Which made it all that much exciting. We chose this hike over a visit to Plitvice Park specifically to avoid crowds.
We came across some blackberries which was a nice little treat. A few hours in and started to rain, but we kept going, no problem.
We saw a couple of Alpine Salamanders which were pretty cool.
The rocks can be a bit slippery when wet, but its all part of the adventure.
If you like nature, it is an amazing hike. Highly recommended.

Take notice you have to be feet to visit most of the places there.
Take at least three days to do it and to enjoy every path you can reach.

absolute rhapsody of intact natural shapes. Intriguing rocks which call you to approach and discover. This trip requires good shoes, and solid physical competence, as you climbing to the top using cable and wedges, but once you find yourself on the top (1335 altitude) you're blessed with a stunning view.

Bijele & Samarske stijene is a strictly protected natural reserve, i.e. a true rarity.
If you are a nature lover, make sure you do not miss this place, it will overwhelm you with beauty and uniqueness.
You may stick to the maps, but having a guide is recommended. Inquire with locals.
