We have never seen such a scene. It is actually teen kona and water frequently gets waves at the juncture ! Do spend some time sitting there and watching the nature.

Experienced the beauty of nature. The high tide water reaches up to 12 feet and flooded the Jungle. when it is low tide water level reduced and it becomes picturesque due to the combination of river water, mud and lush green forest. eally unforgettable experience.

We spent 4 days gently cruising round the waterways and islands of the Sunderbans, exploring the creeks, watching the wildlife, hoping to see tigers. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. We had a very knowledgeable local guide on our boat. He was born and brought up in the Sunderbans, had taught himself English, and in his spare time, taught the children from his village English and Maths. We saw crocodiles, some were huge, water monitor lizards, all sorts of birds, deer, crabs, wild boar, but sadly no tigers. Even so, our visit was incredible. This remote area has no electricity, no running water. Everything has to arrive at these villages and islands by boat, as we did, a 3 hour car drive and 2 hour boat trip to reach the tiger camp, then more hours on the boat, through the mangrove to approach the heart of the reserve.
