This is a nice trip to do on your own, when you have a few hours to spare. Good way to see some of Medellin, and get out into the country side to see some native fauna.

Arvi, accessible via the Metrocable - a spectacular hillside ride - is a very large park on the fringes of Medellin. Upon reaching the final station/entrance you will find a famers market and information centre. Beyond that you can choose to walk in two different...More

This park offers both paid activities and nice peaceful quiet walks away from the crowds in acres of beautiful forest high above Medellin. The gondola trip to the park alone is worth the time. We could have spent days in this park and not grown...More

A very nice park to be hiked but too many people on the trails and on the beaches! In general nice to visit!

Pretty park accessed by the cable car. It was quiet, a good place for a visit to get away from the city. There was a little market and hiking.

Perhaps misguidedly, my husband and I expected some nature trail hiking which we found could only be done with a guide. Without one, the options are very limited. We also expected an interesting trip on the cable car. Coming up was great but when thunderstorms...More

HOW TO GET THERE: Take the metro to the stop "Acevedo", then take the metrocable "linea K", switch to "linea L" at the top. At the end of "Linea L" you find Parque Arvi. "Linea L" costs 5200 one way, btw. There is supposedly a...More
