Another Old Heritage which is poorly managed.
Jun 2018
By the first look of it, you may find it little boring as there's nothing much to do except some photography.
The location is just at the entrance of Narnaul city but still a crowded place, so unless travelling by a bike, better hire a local auto/rickshaw and park your car at nearby Bus Stand.

May be one can blame the city, but it's more for the administration and authorities to fix this site and many others in Narnaul.
Budget has never been spent as it should be for maintenance of these old heritage structures.

This palace is a building with pavilions, rooms and halls, as well as the inner portion consisting of marble pillars and floors. Good place.

Difficult to locate.

Bang in the middle of the labyrinths of the alleyways of Narnaul, one can only walk to this place after asking for directions.
Unfortunately it has a lock dangling on the entry. If one has time then the guard stays somewhere closeby and am told that he then opens the doors.
I saw this important structure with linkages to Birbal from the multi storied house across the lane.
Massive scale. Worth visiting.

A great heritage
Dec 2014
This and the other heritage buildings in and around Narnaul are well worth visiting and preserving. It is a shame that some are not being well looked after and hopefully more can be done through INTACH or ASI.

Great architecture nice place, excellent memories of past but poor maintenance. The place desreve to be protected by ASI rather then Haryana State Arechelogical Department for better protection and upkeeping else great memories will collapse with time..

Discover the one of best architectural palaces of North India
Mar 2013 • Friends
Its one of the best and very old architectural palaces of all times.Known as Chatta because of six floors with minus three levels of basements and plus three floors above ground is a grand palace of Raja Balmukund Rai. It was built around 450 yrs back and has one of the best air, sunlight and water cooling systems of olden days.
The entry to all the basements is not allowed and is closed for people. There used to be tunnels connecting this place to Agra and Delhi. Many stories of people missing from those tunnels are circulated.
Hardly any tourists reach here due to lack of awareness. Also its located in narrow lanes of town.
You can find it with bit efforts and enjoy the time in shooting old paintings too.

It is one of the most remarkable historical places in the great City NARNAUL; is famous for its attachment with BIRBAL, one of the Rattans of Akbar Darbar, the famous Mughal Emperor.
