If you are expecting to see monkeys you'll be disappointed. There aren't any. Probably scared off by the hoards of tourist turning up. Charged for sunbeds. - 100 bahts each - food was nice but people not as pleasant as over on the other beach

the usual perfect sand and sea a bit busier with motor boats and jet skis so a bit more noise than samae beach but a fantastic place to be with the added attraction of the local mokeys who appear out of the jungle sometimes i have hand fed them with bananas

We made a speedboot trip an were first on the beautifull Ko Phai Island and went then to Kho Lan Nuan beach. The only thing i can say: disappointing. The prices in the restaurant are icredible high, the personal is unfriendly. You get charged for the toilett and it isn't even clean. Also there is so much waste every where, it really hurts to see, what they do with ther envirement.

Very close to the pier. Lots of swing on this small beach. Most other beaches are much cleaner. The sand was soft.

We took a baht bus to this beach from just oustside the main village. It cost 40 baht each.Very reasonable we thought. Nual beach itself is a very clean beach. The sea is crystal clear water. Before relaxing on the beds we took a short walk to the right of the beach. The waste litter here was simply disgusting. Piles and piles of empty beer bottles as far as the eye could see. It was on the way back to the beach when we were lucky enough to see x2 monkeys....Whilst this cheered us up...we were left disappointed at some in people's inability to tidy up after themselves

Nual Beach can be reached by island taxi from Tawaen Beach - costs THB 40. There were no monkeys at the time we visited.
The beach is less crowded, silver sand and good swimming areas as well as space to walk around. Because it is a smaller beach there are only a couple of food outlets although on the way we noticed plenty of places to have a drink and relax.

Cery nice and clean beach, seems like its a forgotten place to visit in Thailand. Plenty 9f food stalls and vendors available to munch into the lovely local cuisine.
