The Temple is very accessible and one can finish their rituals with ease. There are a lot of sub temples and places where you need to donate the stuff you usually bring in your irumudi kettu.

This temple is just few meters from Sri Darmasastha shrine. One has to visit this shrine compulsorily and much more mandated if you are visiting Sabarimala for the first time. The Goddess is very powerful and one prays to get their daughters/sons to get married soon.

The sanctorum is just behind Lord Ayyappa Sanctorum. This is very popular for devotees rolling coconuts around the sanctum and praying for their wishes to be fulfilled. Some also bring bits of clothes to be blessed by the Goddess and take it back for the wishes to be fulfilled.

Malikappuram temple is in Sabaramila near Aiyyappa temple. Lord Ayyappa a brahmachari was requested by malikappurm goddess to marry her. Ayyappa replied that he will marry here when a time comes where there is not a single new devote visiting sabarimala.. Every year during festival this is cross checked as a ritual..

It is a mythical character who has been conferred the status of a Goddess by quirk of fate. The temple is clean and well maintained and has many practices and rituals connected to the penance and ascent to the Sabarimala temple. Just 'part of life' when visiting Sabarimala

Malikkapuram Devi Temple is the Goddess temple at Sabarimala at a distance of the main Deity Lord Ayyappa. Devotees who come to visit Lord Ayyappa, make it a point to visit this temple and offer prayers in the form of Jacket pieces, Turmeric Powder etc. As per the Legends, this Malikkappura Devi wanted to marry Lord Ayyappa but He is...
