This beach is an absolute delight. It is dotted with a lot of coconut trees plus has a small inlet where a small rivulet flows into the sea. This makes the coconut trees hang low onto the stream, giving beautiful reflections and shades. The beach is also serene and clean, showing off the beautiful sunset in a lovely silhouetted backdrop.

This is one of lesser known beaches near tarkarli. Yet beautiful, uncrowded and you get to enjoy best of both rocks and beach!! Only disadvantage is since it's a steep beach you cannot go deep into the water. Apart from that great place for couples and families seeking some solitude and serenity, just to be amidst nature! It also has... More

Khavane beach between Kelus & Nivati beach of sindhudurg district in Maharashtra is a very quite and less crowded beach in the region. Very often people visit Nivati or tarkarli beach in this region. however very few people go to this beach which is a very cool place. Long beach with some lonely rocky area and good and clean sand... This is one lovely, largely isolated, beach, which, if you are lucky to go there at the right time, you'll have all for yourself to enjoy - just like a private beach. Had been to Vengurla with my friends and one of the friends mentioned this largely unheard of beach about 15 kms from there. The route from the town... More

Hi, Thanks for your review. We really appreciate your comments on the beach. It is a truly private beach, and we plan to setup a small eco friendly resort, right on the beach, to cater to a very few guests - to maintain the privacy of the beach. We plan to get operational by March 2014. Hope you visit again... More

This picture perfect place is the newest catch on the Maharashtra coastline. The water is pristine blue, very safe. The idyllic setting is further enhanced by land locking on two sides, and a temple on the hillock, just next to the beach. We spent our entire morning there....and there were only 4-5 other folks on the beach. A must visit... More

This beach is truly a private beach, with three sides covered with hills. The first glimpse of this beach (from atop an adjoining hill) will make you fall in love with this place. The beach, though is clean from any human waste, needs some cleaning as there are some unused nets, tree logs etc lying around. The beach also has... More

This beach is one of the hidden gems of Konkan shoreline. Just 15 kms between Vengurla and Bhogave beach and 15 kms drive from upcoming Chipi airport. Around 70 kms from Goa. What do a visitor ask for more from a beach that has 500 metres of sandy beach enclosed by mountains at both ends, a river flowing by the... More
