I visited Ingoldmells just to take a random walk along my local coast line. I’ve visited most of the East Lincolnshire coast over many years, but none of them have left me feeling depressed!
I can’t understand why anyone would willing take a holiday here, there are literally no redeeming features. The worst part was the endless litter problem, which as we all know is a problem with thick and lazy individuals. However, this problem is also the responsibility of the local council. There were dog poo bags discarded all over and piles of rubbish blowing around on the paths and beach. Weeds are growing up all along the promenade. If you are determined to visit this end of days resort then please don’t add to the blight!

The beach is disgusting from Bibbys bar to uncle Barrys cafe. There is a pile of rubbish that has been there since April. There is rubbish always on the walkway and beach. When i walk my dog i have to watch where she walks. There is also always people smoking weed near the lifeguard hut.

I’m not sure why people have put a bad review for this beach it’s ingoldmells you knew it wasn’t Cornwall before you went 🤷🏻♂️
We has a fantastic time 12-16th Aug 24. We stayed a one of scrumptious caravans on the promenade site that leads on to the beach. We took the dog so walked along the walk way of the beach every morning/night. I was shocked how clean it was tbh. The staff was there early morning cleaning up from the night before cleaning the beach front and the streets.
People mentioned the bins over flowing but it’s school holidays it’s most busy time to go. I seen them emptying them twice a day.
Yes there was a smell of cannabis but it’s 2024 most young people smoke it now and tbh I’d rather them do that for them to chill out than being drunk on the streets drinking cans.
Anyway I’ve booked to go again next year as we normally go Tattershall lakes but would rather pay more than less half the price in ingoldmells then go there again.
Dont let the bad comments out you off they do a great job there for family’s and we really enjoyed it 5⭐️

Never, ever again! It's the most dirtiest resort I've ever been to!
What a s**thole! I've never seen a place so covered in litter! The beach was strewn with bottles, cans, plastic glasses, soiled nappies, masks and dog pooh!
All the walkways were also litter strewn with the occasional flytip of excessive amounts of rubbish!
I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
Broken glass on the promenade, had to pick our dog up and carry it to avoid it cutting it's paws
No social distancing. An absolutely disgraecul place, and I can't emphasize this enough.I felt repulsed.at what I saw!

WHAT A TIP, rubbish everywhere.
The locals and council have had month during lockdown to clean this place up.
They have done nothing, its a disgusting tip.
All the whingeing on local news about their livelihoods being ruined and they cant even be bothered to clean up last years rubbish.
This is not from this years tourists, its everywhere you look, in the hedgerows, fields, down the sides of paths, everywhere.
I would be ashamed if I lived there.

We walked here while staying at the dirty holiday camp!!
We didn't get a very good impression of the beach either.
There was rubbish bags stacked up at various places along the front, but the seagulls had been in and strewn the rubbish all over the place and on the beach.
Certainly not a place we will return to!!

Lovely beach! There are bars and bits to do all across it. I was told the bit outside Bibbies was private which is maybe why its so clean. The Sand was soft on your feet. Shame Ingoldmells don't get the tropical sun or it would be perfect

how on earth has this place got a blue flag ? makes a laughing stock of the blue flag award ..... no public toilets... you have to go into a bar if you need to go ......dirtiest beach on the lincs coast.... bottles cans plastic nappies needles , you see it all...... broken glass everywhere esp. around the outfall area of the beach....... you see a very reluctant beach picker maybe once in a day ......the karaoke is beyond words..... the place needs levelling and a return to nature

Me and my family, including my deceased in laws, used this beach for many nyears since the 1970's. It used to be a wonderful place to go and relax, take young children, have a good time, take the children for have donkey rides but it is now so dirty, uncared for unloved, litter everywhere and generally left in a filthy state. What a crying shame.

The council want to sort all the litter out on the beach by installing waste bins along the promenade between the caravan parks and ingoldmells where the fairground is. Disgusting place they should be ashamed of themselves. No working street lights either along the promenade when walking back after dark. Absolute hovel of a place. Promenade not swept so covered in sand, litter, broken glass. Avoid.
