We spent one rainy morning here and it was great. We learned so much about the history of the area and in particular during WWII which was really very interesting. We learned a lot from this and our two kids enjoyed it too.

Very interesting. The museum had a large section devoted to the history of Kirkenes in the second world war and it's importance as a result of it's strategic location; a Sami section, an area about mining in the locality, and a section reserved for exhibits of a local artist.
