Very professional team at check-in including the choice of right clothing and protective gear. The pilot informative and also led the RIB safely close to the shoreline without taking any risks. Beautiful nature and eagles in number of tens in each colony. The two-hour trip can be highly recommended.

An unforgettable experience.
We were going on a boyfriend trip and decided to sign up. The boats breaking the fjord ice to pass was impressive. And seeing the eagles so close in those almost wild landscapes was an incredible experience.
If you're going to svolvaer you can't stop

Beautiful experience. One of the best day of our life as the weather was so good. The crew and the employees are all super friendly and always making sure we are comfortable.

The combination of the majestic fjords and the eagle are just superb… 2 hours is just not enough.

Ticket name: RIB & Floating Sea Eagle Adventure

Positives:
Floating was truly a unique and fun experience. It was fun to try out how such life jackets work and what they can withstand. In this respect, it was a great experience that you certainly won’t forget anytime soon.

Negatives:
1. Unfavourable time:
The chosen time was extremely unfavourable. It was far too dark to notice the beauty of the crystal clear Arctic waters or the impressive colors of the surrounding area. The fjords and mountains were also barely visible due to fog and darkness. A later time would have made the experience much more enjoyable and attractive for guests.
2. Lack of focus on white-tailed eagles:
A major criticism is that the tour was also advertised with the opportunity to see white-tailed eagles. Unfortunately, no effort was made during the tour to look for the white-tailed eagles or to address this at all. It seemed that this item of the programme had been completely neglected.
3. Lack of efforts for guests:
It could have been expected that more efforts would be made for the guests, for example through professional pictures or drone shots, as shown in the promotional video. Unfortunately, photos were only taken on explicit request by the guide. Overall, it seemed like you had little desire to offer guests a truly memorable experience.
4. Subsequent offer:
After the tour we were offered to take part in another tour to see white-tailed eagles. This gives the impression that it’s more about additional revenue than a fulfilling experience.

Conclusion:
Despite the successful floating experience, the tour was disappointing overall. The time, the lack of implementation of the advertised content and the lack of commitment from the guide have greatly clouded the overall impression. In this form I would not recommend the tour.

I took eagle safari with my young daughters. Service and guiding was excellent! I also appreciate that we got high quality and good sized equipment. It is not always so when travelling with kids. Girls loved the experience!

It was an amazing experience!
Our captain was very nice, the boat was comfortable and we had a great weather.
We so lots of sea eagles! And even spotted a few Dolphins on our way back to Svolvaer.
We got a thermal suit, goggles and gloves that kept us nice and cozy.
Over all it was great🌹

The rib trip to Trollfjorden was absolutely top notch wonderful. Good quality equipment and friendly, professional staff. The 12 killer whales we could watch om close range was a magnificent bonus, but even without them, the majestic eagles and nature in general would have made the experience true bliss. Unmissable.

We did the Lofoten Explorer sea tour in July. It was wonderful. They lend you full suits to keep you warm and dry. They took us into a Trollfjord, through some wonderful scenery then to an island where there were sea eagles. They threw fish into the water and the sea eagles came close to the boat to get the fish.

We were lucky to come across such an amazing tour. Our guide, Arnstein, catered for all our needs (even if one in our party is differently abled, and requires somewhat more attention). The eagles were fantastic and the local knowledge of our guide was mindblowing. If you visit Lofoten this tour is a must, and as u can see from the picture was our impaired friend also very satisfied!

This was the highlight of our trip to the islands. The scenery is breathtaking along the fjords. The guides know where to go to feed the eagles, and our guide Gunnar was so kind.
We were out about 1.5hrs and it was perfect. Much more and we would have been getting cold.
If you go in the winter, make sure you wear a scarf to protect your nose and bottom portion of your face. The gear they give you is perfect, but in the wind-the only part cold will be your nose/lower face if you dont bring a scarf.
