Heard rumours the day before that the whales had gone for the season, so arrived with low expectations. They warned us of this before we left and offered a full refund, but none of the 50 or so guests got off. Took 3 hours to get to Skjervoy and the weather was bad, so even if the herring hadn't moved on it wasn't the best day for it and might not have seen much anyway. However, we had half a dozen white beaked dolphins racing alongside the boat, going under it and leading us from the front, and you could get very close to them as the bottom deck is almost sea level, so as good as a RIB for viewing. We circled a few small islands in the area looking for a few whale stragglers not as hungry as their mates who had followed the herring up to the arctic ocean, but no joy, then on our way back we found a humpback and stayed with it for around 20 minutes, which was great. It was about 100 metres away, but it says that they can't get too close on their website, so that was really nice. All told, we had a great day out and the brand new boat is absolutely stunning, from the lovely wooden decks to the beautiful interior which was very warm, which we desperately needed after standing outside for a while. I don't think you'd get a more comfortable experience with any of the other larger boats, as they all look like big ferries. Also, we were one of only 3 boats to go out that day, so had the sightings all to ourselves. The crew were fantastic, coming round to every guest, asking if they were ok, and answering hundreds of questions. You could see that they really tried their best to see some orcas, but some times it just isn't meant to be. That's nature for you, so don't be upset if you don't get everything you want, as it's out of their control, but they will do everything they can, so would definitely recommend them and use again (but maybe come in December next time, as it seems the end of whale season is getting earlier each year).

The tour was very well organised and already after boarding we were informed that the weather might get bad in one point of the route so we might not be able to continue to our destination Skjervøy. Those who decided not to continue could have asked for refund or move the date of the tour. So absolutely fair treatment!

We stayed and surprisingly we heard from the crew that this day it we ended up with the best weather possible! Absolutely amazing friendly crew ready to answer any of your questions.

Our group was lucky as we saw several groups of Orcas (one of them family with baby) and lucky me spotted Minke Whale on our way back to Tromsø. Apart from animals also beautiful scenery of Norwegian fjords.

We went whale watching today with Brim and had the best day. The staff were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and just lovely. My fave part of the day was when the captain moved away from an amazing whale spot as it was getting too crowded and other boats weren’t being as respectful to the Orcas. I have so much respect for the way this company/staff treated the day/whales. Thanks for a great experience 🖤 staff, you were all just fab! X

Absolutely great experience! The trip was from Svolvær to Henningsvær and back with stunning landscapes and incredibly friendly crew. They also showed us under water drone footage as one of the crew members was driving it. We also got to hear interesting stories and history about Lofoten. There was also a little bit luck on the way as we saw a double rainbow at the sea when we were coming back from Henningsvær :D. Thank you to the crew for making our trip to Lofoten more awesome. Highly recommended!

What can be better that spending evening on a brand new boat, watching the sunlight play with the fjords, while you get spoiled by knowledgeable and handsome Norwegian crew? So, why should you choose this particular tour where there are many others to choose from? First the boat itself offers comfort, safety and possibility to stay warm and dry, or stand outdoors if you wish so. Food we’ve got served was local, and way better than in any Svolvær restaurants we’ve tried. Please notice that it is not full meal, but there are many continental dishes to choice from at additional (reasonable) cost. We were served local snacks (stockfish, almonds in seaweed flavour and aquavitt-snaps) at departure, and warming fish soup on our way back. Absolutely stunning views above and underwater. The town of Henningsvær is the prettiest in Lofoten, full of art galleries, smal cosy restaurants and quite special fotball pitch.

Book now! This trip was utterly fabulous. The boat is spotless and brand new. Brilliant facilities, warm and cosy. The staff are so friendly, helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble and they did their best to get round to everyone to ask how they were and where they were from etc.
We were lucky enough to see some humpbacks although they weren’t so close but the whole experience alone was well worth the money. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip!

On top of the list of things to do in Lofoten and there is a reason why. It is a very touristy thing to do for sure but is still an absolute must do experience. The Brim boat is wonderfully designed and perfect for this experience. As with most days we spent in Lofoten, this trip was a mixture of cloudy skies, light rain, some mist and some dry air. The scenery on this trip is breathtaking so make sure you are taking the time to look all around in every direction while on the boat. The goal is to get into the end of Trollfjord which is spectacular but the scenery every inch of the way is just as amazing. Such a beautiful landscape to experience. Having this silent electric boat was very cool as well (only runs on silent electric inside the fjord). While in the fjord with this boat that is making no noise you can almost become one with nature even though you happen to be on a boat full of people. Even the people on the boat were talking in low voices and you could hear and experience everything. Pretty special. The waterfall inside the fjord is awesome. This is an experience that you absolutely must do while in Svolvær.

Came here with my family (2 adults and a 2 year old toddler) and we had a great time.

There was a yellow warning storm for our original morning booking in August, so we were given a few options for what to do (as the sailing was cancelled due to safety reasons). We chose to go for the afternoon sailing, and the adjusted booking process was quick an efficient.

The boat is quite comfortable with a small bar/restaurant inside. We had a pram along (for our 2 year old), and it was no problem bringing it into the boat. They also provide binoculars onboard so no need to bring your own.

All in all, it was a very picturesque family activity, and our little one was fascinated by the trollfjord. Would definitely recommend to other families with young children.

The cruise itinerary was beautiful and the boat was full of comforts. The delightful, attentive, and funny staff provided a lot of information about both the norwegian nature ( they even used an underwater drone to show the marine life) and the fishing culture. A lovely way of spending a morning in Svolvaer indeed.

This is a lovingly thought out, well organised and sustainable tour on a beautifully designed and well-equipped hybrid boat to give value without outstaying its welcome. We were admittedly exceptionally lucky with the weather, but as the tour passes through stunning scenery even before entering the spectacular Trollfjord and the crew are friendly and the commentary is engaging and witty, I am sure that a magical experience could be had even on a cloudy day.
