Took my son here and he had a ball. So much to do and a a few of the coolest sections encourage the kids to work to get there. Easy eats. Not easy to get to without a car but doable. Bring cash or a Dutch bank card. If you are from outside of Europe, definitely bring cash. And remember to bring cash for munchies.

Because only the child is paying it is a reasonable outing what the price is concerned. Safety is key for the Ballebak. Regarding the electricity. the sockets are placed high. Children can not secretly escape through the door. There is a door, which can only be opened by adults. The playing devices look very safe. Since it is not an expensive outing it can be very busy and noisy, but children like it very much. Sometimes birthday parties are being held in the Ballebak. As grandparents we like the grandchildren enjoying the playground.

De Ballebak (Softplay) is great fun.
They have a few areas within the hall. There is a softplay for small children (under 3 or 4 years) where the tunnels, slides, jumping castle is their size. Next to that is the restaurant selling tea/coffee/soft drinks and then onto warm food such as fries with chicken, meat balls etc.
There is also an area for bigger kids which also has tunnels, trampolines, jumping castle, climbing, etc
They have a few small cars which you need to pay for if you want to ride them.
On certain days they have a disco for the kids which even kids of 2 years old are attending and dancing/singing,
Go early as it gets busy!

As the weather wasn't great (and I wanted to go out of the house with my two children), I decided to go to the playground in Zoetermeer.
This indoor complex, situated next to one of the tramstations in Zoetermeer, houses lasergames, something I didn't go to and a childrens indoor playground, the reason for my visit. I've been to other ones some months ago and these didn't have a lot for children of 2/3 years old... this place does!.
They have a special area for children up to four years old, this has a few slides, a few places with plastic balls, lot's of opportunities to climb and a big air-cushion on which the children can jump, without having to fear bigger children bumping them aside or worse... in the area where the have bumping cars they organise childrens disco and then there is still more, but more for children in the age of say 5 to 8 years old...
My children, age 1 and 2, loved it and didn't want to go home yet after two hours.... So imagine when they are older can also do the other things!.
There is food for sale, there are a lot of tables for parents to sit...
A good option for those who want to do something with their young children on a rainy day!.
