Fantastic fun outing with the kids. Beautiful nature, wonderful adventure. Folkert the Driver and Guide completes the party. An unprecedented encyclopedia of history, flora and fauna and burlap treasures.

No idea if everything was true or half made up but when all the children hang on his lips as he humorously ignites his stories, you know you're dealing with a fantastic storyteller.

Together with Wouter? On the accordion, a wonderful 2 hours is talked, sung and framed with music.

A lot of money but not expensive for the offered, recommend it to everyone.

For those who do not want to cycle to the Posthuys (from where the express departs), the bus stops in front of the door!

A great opportunity to take a nice ride on the beach! Our goal was to see the drowning house, which you cannot simply walk or cycle to.
Was worth it! afterwards you can enjoy a delicious beer and lunch at the Badhuys beach bar (departure point Vliehors Express).

We just came back from afternoon ride! It was a very nice trip, definitely an unique experience! The musician and tour guide were amazing: knowledgeable and funny. The bus ride allowed us to get some great views. Highly recommended when in Vlieland!

I have gone this trip several times with clients, but the last experience was enough and I will not go again. There is really a disproportionate price compared to the performance. Absolutely useless is the accordionist, who on the way plays tacky melodies on a discordant accordion. What disappointed me the most was that there was no stop at the military shooting range. That was a great added value. And in the final, I don't understand why, on the way back, the reluctant bus driver didn't stop at the lighthouse or in the village and took us to the north beach again. You sin because you have no competition!

In principle nice but a lot of load speaker entertainment. Well if you like that’s fine.
But a no go: approaching with the big car to seals that where resting at the waterside. Half of them escaped into the water.
Not a great move to bother them.

What a fun ride! Nice way to explore a beautiful piece of Vlieland ... white sand, beachcombers house and seals. And meanwhile listening to fun stories about vlieland in this big yellow truck/bus.

3 adults and 2 kids (6&4 yo) bought tickets right after ferry arrival in the main street of the village. We went on a Wednesday at 1 PM with cold but sunny weather. The monster truck / bus was full and drove for about 20 min to the first stop. On board was a/ the only 🙂Vlieland-accordionist who told about Vlieland, this largest desert in Europe ‘the Vliehors’ and played a few lovely tunes on his instrument. The first stop was the rescue-hut / drenkelingenhuisje which offered a home to drowning boat crew in between sea and shore in the middle of the dessert. It is now a museum for beachcombers’ souvenirs. You need to see this when visiting Blieland, it is so cute. You can even get married here nowadays!! We then drove on to the furthest point and saw a group of at least 15 seals. We were able to get quite close when they swam along the coast along our group. We then drove back and returned to the Badhuys at about 3 Pm (see other review). I can highly highly recommend this trip. When not in full summer, do take a hat, scarf and a wind coat, it can be rough weather (still very exciting to see!).

It is nice to see the other side of Vlieland and the Vliehors Expres offers this option. We selected a busy weekend day and were disappointed by the many people that we allowed in the truck which made it a squeezed and uncomfortable ride. I would strongly recommend to reduce group sizes.

It was about a 30 minute drive to the Vliehors, during which you had lots of time to relax and enjoy the view of the sea and the dunes. When we reached the Vliehors we were pretty amazed by the sheer size of it! you could also see Texel. What was also cool was that there was poetry imprinted on the tyres of the bus which meant that when we stopped, we could read what was written in the tracks! We also visited 'het drenkelingenhuisje' and saw all the bizarre things that had been found on the beach in the past few years (dummies, coffee etc.) We picked up an accordion player for on the way back and he played songs the entire journey. This gave the journey back a great atmosphere!

A must see! Good view of the sand plain of Vlieland. At the end of the island you can see Texel as well.
