Off the beaten path,in the southern part of Malta,lies the stunning fishing village of Marsaskala. With the harmonic lifestyle of traditional Malta as our backdrop and the Mediterranean Sea outside our door, we offer a dive base like no other. Our doors are open all year round to welcome divers willing to experience the beauty beneath our seas. Wreck can be enjoyed within less than a minute travel time to shore or boat,varying depths between 18m and 80m. This way all enthusiastic divers may explore to their hearts content at the level most comfortable to them. Between tug boats and planes,freighters and destroyers, anyone can dive what pleases them most. The caves and reefs that stretch along the Maltese Islands can be reached by our boat so every nook and cranny can be enjoyed. When learning to dive you expect care and attention as well as a dedicated professional. We know that and therefore insist on the importance of attentive instruction at all levels of diving.

I did a one time dive with Dive Med, and let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences in my life.
Staff are all so very friendly, they offer you a beverage and make sure you are comfortable at all times. The instructors are clearly passionate on their jobs which can be seen through the depth of their explanation on equipment and procedures. You are instructed to put up your own gear which you will be diving with making the experience more personalized.
The dive is 45 minutes long which the instructor will ensure you are safe and comfortable whilst diving. 45 minutes is not enough honestly in the beautiful blue waters of Marsacala. You get to chat on how the dive went.
I would highly recommend booking your diving session with Dive Med as they are exceptional and experienced divers making you time and money a guaranteed worth while.

Mikela and instructor Luciano made the most they could of our five diving days. I used to dive for years in Malta (with an other dive center) and wanted to show my husband the beauties of the underwater landscape. Mikela organised all very meticulously, Luciano was a dive guide we wish we had on other diving holidays. He is very responsible and we always felt safe with him. Also he was fun to be with over water :-))
We can recommend this dive center, all rented equipment was in good condition and the staff great! Very good infrastructure inside as well (showers, changing rooms, locker room).

Only gave this dive centre 5 stars because there’s no button for 6 !! What can I say. Absolutely fantastic dive trip. This business is family run and been successful since the 60’s. There’s a massive energy between all of the dive staff there and they ooze enthusiasm. The diving is safe, fully briefed and most importantly , fun ! Can’t wait to go back again ..

A lovely family run professional dive centre, and it is very apparent that it is something they all love.
All the family and staff are really welcoming and friendly.
They go out of their way to make your diving experience the best it can possibly be.
It’s been a pleasure to meet and dive with them all.
Great dive sites on the doorstep.
You won’t be disappointed.

I completed PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver & numerous recreational dives with DiveMed over the 9 months of which I was living in Malta and cannot recommend them highly enough!
The centre is easily accessible by car and has ample parking space.
All Equipment is in good order, facilities are clean and safety measures with regards to COVID 19 were all well in place.
All tuition /instruction was carried out in a safe, fun & friendly manner by their experienced team of instructors, whilst their passion & enthusiasm for diving was always clear to see.
Pricing is fair and booking was always straightforward, even when booking for a large group of friends.
I would highly recommend DiveMed to anyone looking to dive in Malta, I'll certainly be back!

I had a great time with Divemed team. Everyone was very kind, helpful and professional. You feel comfortable the moment you step in. Dive sites were excellent and the prices are very fair. I will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend them!

These guys know about diving. We mailed them to ask for a dive on the Um el Faroud and the next day they brought us there! Two instructors for the two of us. The equipment was in great condition and the briefing was awesome. Due to COVID-19 we got our own mouthpiece. We had an amazing dive! Thanks.

If you have thought of trying diving, but are not quite sure I can reccomend Divemed. It's a family run business and they were reccommended to me by 2 experienced divers. Is easy to find and good parking.
Very good briefing before we went to explain the equipment and what to expect. I felt in good hands from the start.
All considerations regarding the current COVID 19 situation are also addressed e.g. with individual mouth pieces.
Was very nervous, but Luciano is very patient. I had warned them beforehand that I'd tried diving twice in other countries, but had not felt comfortable; this was my final try before deciding if I like it or not.
Luciano encouraged me, but did NOT push me beyond what I felt happy doing. I achieved much more than I expected and there's a lot to see down there😀
Have already booked my next session with Divemed😊.

i went for 2 dives on 02.10.13, instructor daniel was profesional, safe, showing stuff.
in the end of the day i decided to make 2 more dives on the next day.
next morning the size of the group was 5 instead of promised 4 guests; the car was to smal for the amount of peoples, so i drove with my privat motorbike to the dive spot. being there a O-ring in the reg failed; things like this hapen, abigail(professional, helping, friendly), the instructor of the day tried her best, but they were no spare parts or a spare reg with us.
i decided to abort the diving, instead of waiting for the group to come out, and make my dives later.
i drove back, payed my outstanding bill.(no dicount)
on the 4th in the morning i decided to give them a little feedback.
the owner manuel borg was there.
i tried to ask why there was no spare reg, or parts, but dident come to word because he cut my word again n again with the arguments, that i am a certified, profesional diver, and should checked my equipement before we leave the store. (my stuff got tossed in a box with a other diver...)
as normal paying guest, do i realy need to check all the equipement?

the team is grate, exept the owner has a lack in social interaction. dont have any complains, and you wil be happy!

When thinking of DiveMed the first thing you notice is that's the family business! Professional, helpful and friendly staff, variety of diving sites and unforgettable diving at tuna farm! That's what we'll remember! Once on Malta you should drive to Marsascala to find them and try diving with DiveMed. Nice discounts when coming with a friend! Go and check!
