Extraordinary turquoise sea as many others in Sardegna. I enjoyed one of the best swims of my holidays here, I guess the weather was just perfect, warm crystal clear water despite the sandy base. Good for families/couples. I even saw dogs in the beach and sea, so I suppose here is not forbidden to bring pets as it usually is in other areas in Sardigna.
15 minutes drive from a nearby town, quartu elena and adjacent to other beaches.
Arrive early as it can get crowded after 9/10. It is pebbly and best to have a chair and inflatables to lie down, and also adequate Shoes to enter the sea which has a first line of stones making it difficult to walk-in the water.
Parking is free on the side of the road. A short path to go down on the beach. There is a bar /toilet at charge.

Spiaggia di Mari Pintau is about an hour away from Cagliari there is a bus that runs from the city. This was the most beautiful place I have seen since I came to Sardinia. From the top of the mountain pass you can walk down to the painted sea the border of white stones but in the ocean crystal blue water with a white sand floor. There are change rooms toilets and even a beach bar you can rent chairs umbrellas or just find your own spot. There are a few patches of sand if you look around. The water is calm and absolutely beautiful. Heaven on earth reminded me of the Caribbean. Worth a day out not too far to travel.

We spent the whole day here today and it was absolutely amazing. This is the 4th beach we’ve been to during our 5 days so far in Sardinia and it is just beautiful! The setting of the beach is in lush green surroundings with the most crystal clear blue water - visibility was unreal! There is no real parking so it is all done on the side of the road around the main path to the beach. An easy but pebbly walk through the little bar/restaurant area and you are in paradise. You can rent sun loungers for €4 each and there are also some showed and toilets. Have some cash on you. The beach is mainly pebbles but the once in the sea is soft, white sand. It’s was a perfect day!
Our other favourite beaches are Cala Usai (in the Villasimius area) which had the best snorkelling and is a stunning setting! Cala Sinzias and Cala Pira...all exceptional beaches.

This is one of the beaches that everyone will recommend to you. We found that it was too crowded and too small. Very popular and there is a restaurant/bar on the way down. There is also a nice pine wood nearby if you wish to rest during the hottest part of the day or if the beach is too windy. Parking can be tricky but possible on the road (there is not a car park as such)

Mare Pintau beach is just a tiny rocky bay. The best way to enjoy it is in fact looking at it from above :-) The view of this part of the coast is outstanding, especially at the sunset. But the beach is not really beautiful, it has no sand, it's not easily accessible - you have to descend from the hill right from the road (there is also no good place for parking the car, you have to leave your car at the roadside).

Honestly I don't think that deserves that much
Its very busy road 1 line per direction,
Not that much coffee shops and restaurants around
There's an ATM, petrol station around
The beach is like a one spot and very busy because the ppl nearby villas
There is a black thing in the water like some sea grass remains which make going in the water and going out a bit uncomfortable, cause it stucks on you
I don't recommend it if you go exactly for the beach, nice to see if you just passing by

For those who drive from Cagliari towards Villasimius, after capitana, the bends take you to a breathtaking cliff road, opening before kala and more & Geremia on this spectacular beach with the sea so blue from left an right that boats, cars stop constantly to admire its natural beauty. It is very busy and parking is restricted, please bring your drinks and foods and please don’t leave your litter behind there, it is safeguarded for decades, please keep it the same way, thank you, it will be with the drive.

this place has crystalline waters but its not a typical sardinian beach there are pebbles so bring your shoes for snorkeling , there are sun beds available to rent and there is a little kiosk for refreshments. not so comfy if you just have a towel .

First this is a rocky beach,no sand on the shore.
If you don't mind that ..the color of the water..will take you to heaven. So transparent, enclosed in a large gulf that sprawls far about 2.5 miles. excellent for swimming in the morning and to tan ..all afternoon..while you wait to see the sunset,as the beach faces south west. Clothing optional (nude beach ) is normally tolerated and practised on the right end side. Definitely my fauvorite spot. Higlu recommended to stop by on your way to Villasimius..heavenly nice.

Come posso prenotare ombrellone e lettini?
