Finally visited a few times this holiday. Run by two nice ladies Ann and Karen - great food and they make the best omelettes in Lindos! They also let us leave our cases there on our last day which allowed us to change before we left. Will definitely be calling in next May when we return.

You would never imagine that this lovely pool bar was tucked away behind the bus station. Certainly you can't see or hear the buses when you are relaxing on your free sun-lounger. It's a great place to spend a day as an alternative to going down on the beach. When we were there in late September it was for grown-ups only, sorry kids! The pool is ultra clean and the water is cool and refreshing. Most of the pool is quite shallow, so it's not one for showing off your Olympic standard front crawl and diving in is not allowed as there is no lifeguard on duty. There is a separate paddling pool for toddlers, and if you are pushing a buggy or are in a wheel-chair, there is a access ramp. Lots of shade available, both from umbrellas and trees/bushes in the garden area. Two Scots (I think) ladies run the place and it is mainly catering to the Brits, with full-breakfast and proper Ketchup & HP sauce, chili-con-carne baked potato and so on featuring on the menu, but there is much more to the food side of things than that, with daily specials available. We had a good Greek salad and a tasty mushroom omelette and chips and an amazing prawn roll, which was large and generously filled. All kinds of drinks available from the bar, good Frappe Coffees in particular. The large draught beers are 400ml and beautifully served in frozen glasses. Prices not too bad by Lindos standards. The toilet facilities are clean and tidy. Should you need something to read, there is a large pile of magazines and a huge number of paperbacks in the book exchange. There are also board games to borrow. We enjoyed our day here and would come again.

Karen and Anne are amazing. We spent 3 weeks in Lindos and came to the Waterside about 8 days. 50 cents from the square to the top of the hill on the shuttle bus and The Waterside was just there. It was a refreshing change to sit by the pool and relax. The food was always good and the pool was warm an clean. Very friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Visited the Waterside most days of our 10 day stay in Lindos.. lovely welcome from Karen and Ann who run the place.. beds very comfy and free of charge as long as you purchase your food and drinks throughout the day. The food is excellent always hot and tasty.. had a few breakfasts with a good cup of tea .. and we had the special Meatballs for lunch which were very nice.. the pool was a friendly place with lot's of returning guests which says a lot.. would not hesitate to visit again if visiting Lindos again.. Thanks ladies .. Paula x
