    Great fun
Visited as part of a tour group. A lovely welcome from Maria , a very interesting tour , we learned all about sherry production , which was informative & fun . Our tasting was accompanied by tapas to go with each style of sherry , which was lovely. Trying the brandy was a bonus, this tempted us to buy a bottle, together with the Fino . A fabulous morning & an eye opening experience, as neither of us were sherry lovers .It seems we are now !!!
oh, thank you so much for the comment. Getting new followers of sherry wines is great news. There's a whole world to taste. Enjoy it. See you soon.

Great bodega and tour in the city centre
A great bodega if you're looking to find out more about sherry wine. The tour was really interesting, and the guide was very knowledgable. You don't have to choose which tasting you want to do until the end of the tour, and unlike some places they were quite happy for my wife and I to pay for two different tasting options and share, so we got to taste twice as many wines!
Thank you very much for the visit and leave your comment. In a winery, the more wines you taste, the better you will understand the product they create. See you soon.

Great tour of the Diez Merito bodega
Great tour of the bodega! Our guide Maria was extremely knowledgable. There was no 'hard sell' or rushing. We tasted 5 sherries and a special brandy. With cheese and sausage tapas for just 18 euros each which I though was a bit of a bargain! I would definitely recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for choosing us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the visit and the wine tasting. Until next time.

    Highly appreciated
They produce a full range of sherries plus VORS wines. Founded in 1876 when two brothers started a wine business. Initially in the South of France but within a few years they established in Jerez. It’s quite close to the train Station and is an impressive establishment.

Many of the better know Bodegas were closed on Monday, but this company was advertised on a flyer in the lobby of my hotel. So I walked over to see if I could do a ‘visit’. At first, it looked closed so I took breakfast nearby, when I returned it still look closed. But inside I could see a visitor, so pushed the heavy door which opened. The office is located to the right and I was able to book on the next tour. Victoria, who is Italian, gave an interesting tour and tasting, to a another couple and myself, which at €12 is thought was outstanding value. The equivalent at TIo Pepe would have been double the price and a lot less personal

Our small family group of three adults enjoyed this experience as part of a day trip from Seville to Cadiz (30th August 2022). The tour of the Diez Merito cellars was fascinating, very informative and wonderfully presented by our guide Maria in English and Spanish. Learning about the production and blending processes while strolling between rows of carefully managed old barrels was a joy.
Maria's friendly advice during the tasting of the wide range of sherry and brandy products was an excellent finale to this winery tour!

My wife and I together with another couple visited this bodega on a Saturday afternoon. Our tour was very interesting and informative, largely due to our excellent guide, Maria. She was well educated in all aspects of sherry production and was very capable in answering our questions. Maria was relaxed and very friendly which made us feel most welcome. The bodega itself contained many historical items which were very interesting to discover. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting experience at the end of the tour. Maria explained the differences in taste and composition of each of the sherries and brandy, as well as the recommended food pairings. We were thus inspired to purchase a few bottles to take back home with us. We would highly recommend this bodega tour.

We booked a tour for 11.00am and were surprised when we were the only 4.
So we had a really great tour and tasting session with a lovely lady who explained the entire history of Diez Merito and the process of making there sherry wines and brandy.
Perfect tasting of all of their Sherry wines and an extraordinarily good brandy.
You can buy bottles of it all at very reasonable prices.
Very informative and amazing value.
And much much better than the bigger corporate bodegas.

We want to taste something different - brandy's and Jerez wine. This place is really nice, very authentic. We got basic information about the bodega and wine, but the guide, she was lovely and nice - no problem, just I expect more professionalism.
Advice - If you are interested and wish to see - do it.
