Welcome to our family-owned bodega, devoted to recovering the history of one of the world´s best known wine regions, famous from time immemorial for its fine wines. Over a decade ago we decided to "row upstream" and place our confidence in creating a unique red wine in a region dominated by white grapes. After an excellent premiere by our signature brands Garum, Samaruco and PetitVerdot, we´ve gone on to set ourselves new challenges. We have already developed a wine aged underwater in amphoras and have also made wines with ancient, regional varieties that had neared extinction, such as Tintilla and Palomino negro. Together with this, our first Jerez wine with natural alcohol content is already ageing in American Oak casks.

A beautiful winery with spectacular wines   This winery is the only winery in Jerez that makes wines other than sherry! At the moment they have red and a rosé wine, but in the (near) future they will make other wines as well. It is a small family business just outside of Jerez, located on an idyllic place, namely in... More

Bodega Luis Perez, just outside Jerez, is located on top of the hill with a beautiful view. Virginia is a very kind (English speaking) hostess. We drove to this bodega without an appointment. She elected to give us a private tour of the vineyard -- she did not want to let us go home without a visit. It turned out... More

Very interesting winery , making good to excellent red wine in an area not known for this type of wine. Well worth a visit. Lovely location with great views and interesting architecture.

Bodegas Luis Perez is a beautiful surrounding both in the grounds/ vineyards and the architecture. Virginia was an excellent host that shared in depth knowledge about the Perez family, their philosophy about the wine they produce and the area itself. Love the fact that it is a small family owned business. The tour was over 2 hours with a wonderful... More

Definitely book ahead, we emailed a month in advance, and they close at 3:30, so we were cutting it close going after the horse show which finishes at 1:30. Virginia greeted us warmly and gave us a quick private overview of the winery (we did not have time for a full tour) followed by a guided tasting of their wines.... More

IT is always interesting to taste local vines, even thoug the quality may vary. This, however, is not the case at Bodega Luis Perez. All their vines are exciting and made with true love for the grapes. They also have created a splendid finca just a few kilometers outside Jerez de la Frontera, where guests may study the vine production... More

We had no reservations- and this bodega is not a typical tourist stop. It is a working vineyard. We stopped in to at least get sense of the place. The office staff were obviously busy. Virginia was hesitant at first - as she had other obligations that day. She moved work around - and took us on a personal tour... More

We booked late so there were no tours left but Virginia (speaks excellent English) fitted us in for an explanation of the family and Bodegas. We then had 3 wines to taste and some tapas. The views are stunning and we chilled out for an hour or so. Considering the quality of the wines the prices were reasonable. There is... More

This winery/vineyard is beautiful! We have toured many wineries, but never where the winery is at the site of the actual vineyards. Our tour guide, Virginia, was extremely knowledgable and kind! The vineyard is on the outskirts of Jerz and easy to find. It is family operated and the wines are delicious! We learned so much from Virginia. We would... More
