Well situated and easily accessible from most parts of Jerez. Taxis appear to be always readily available.
Spanish trains are, in general, efficient, comfortable and on-time, but ours to cadiz was 30 minutes late and i can think of lots of things more enjoyable than standing, or sitting, on a cold windy platform in February waiting for it to arrive

Trains are the way to go. Used them extensively throughout our holiday.
Seville to Cadiz and Cadiz to Jerez. On time. Clean and complete with air conditioning. A pleasure to travel.
The station in Jerez is worth a mention. The station building is a joy to behold. Just beautiful with all Moorish features.
A complete surprise but really appreciated it.

The station is convenient to most of the old town of Jerez. It was only a 4 euro/10 minute ride from my hotel. We took the train to Cadiz, which was quite easy to do. The ride takes 37 minutes. The architecture of the train station is beautiful. It is worth visiting to check out the building if you are nearby.

This is quite an attractive station and well set out. Ticket machines can be a problem as they don't walys connect to banks aborad when payign by card and do nto take large bills so you might need to use the serviced desks - be prepared to wait ------a very long time - there was only one man on with every person in front of me apparently needing to arrange a round the world trip so I'm glad I left a long time to my train!

10 minutes walk into city centre. Loads of taxis available too. Good signage, coffee bar and vending machines. Nice and clean. Take the train to Seville one-way or Cadiz the other way. Cheap fares if you're over 60.

From the golden era of station building it reflects the pride and detail afforded to these edifices back then.
It originates in the 1850s and is highly ornate with exquisite flourishes both in and out.

The busy modern train from Sevilla takes approx 1 hour, train was airconditioned, prebooked seat essential as we found out when other passengers sitting in seats they hadn't booked, were swiftly ejected by Spanish travellers. Jerex tain station is a gem, look up & see the fabulous tiles, & beautiful interior of the waiting hall, everything was very easy, clean, & plenty of cheerful taxi drivers waiting to welcome you & take you to your destination

I am not sure but most probably not. I remember that years ago, luggage lockers in some Spain's train stations were put out of order due to fear to terrorist actions. I suggest to address a query to RENFE who is the trains operator.
