I went to this nice place in spring this year. Its buzzing with tourists, mainly spanish and portuguese. Roam through the streets and see a lot of small hidden narrow alleys tucked behind large churches. Only downside is that each and every little lookout costs entrance.

We arrived into this walled city on sa Rainy Afternoon. It's Narrow cobble stone street and historic building just made this place so magical, and you wanted to stay for another night. Talk a stroll, you will never forget this romantic place.

Spent many a day exploring the old town my myself as husband was working here. Lovely buildings and place to buy a coffee or a glass of something cold. Wear comfortable shoes!

Totally recommended to go up to the old town and to get lost around the oldest area. You find the most beautiful streets and monuments everywhere you look. It is absolutely gorgeous.

We drove up from Merida on a weekday, arriving in the late morning. We found free parking on a street down below the medieval walled old town, and it was an uphill walk, but not too long. Once we stepped into the old town, it was like going back in time. We had the blessing of being there when it... More

Caceres it's an amazing city. It preserves the old city surrounded with the wall. The city center it's well preserve and beautiful to walk around! The streets are so narrow you can get lost and enjoy the view! Definitely worth while going and walking around!

Beautiful small city, with many churches and houses of rich families. Plenty of litle places to have a drink, and public activities including live music.

A beautiful town to visit and wonder around, although there is not a great deal to see or do in Caceres
