Took advantage of golfing while on holiday in Italy - and while the weather wasn't great, service and the course was outstanding. Recommend to any golfer visiting while visiting the heel of Italy!

Arranged 3 rounds of golf at San Domenico at the end of October with 3 of my golfing friends. Conveniently close to Borgo Egnazia hotel, in fact the other side of the road from the entrance. Got the trip as a 3 day hotel and...More

We loved playing San Domenico, EVEN though the wind was blowing at 25 miles per hour! The greens had recently been punched and were sandy, but we imagine that they are fabulous under normal conditions. There are ancient olive trees all over the course and...More

Nice course. Just finished back nine, 5 over, on what they say is the windiest day this year. It's no Ballybunion or Carnoustie but sets up nicely as a links-type course. Too many Par 3's on the back though--all short-- but pretty shallow bunkers; the...More

Course in excellent condition. Great holiday course challenging but fair. Beautiful setting. Staff in restaurant couldn't do more for you. Excellent chef and waiting staff (especially Lucia who bent over backwards to make our day perfect). Will return when next in the area. Not overly...More

Despite the crazy wind my husband and I had a great round of golf. You have to walk a path from the parking lot rather than getting dropped off at the door. The place is beautiful and maintained wonderfully. The staff were fantastic and friendly....More

The standout feature are the greens which are superb, however the course design lacks any character with no memorable holes mainly due to the flat terrain. The sea is never really in view at any point other than a couple of holes on the back...More
