You can stroll and browse for hours if you'd like, or just hit specific merchants and make it a bit quicker. Biron, Paul Bert, and Dauphine are great markets all specializing in different types of wares. If you're looking for great, high end antiques, stay at Biron. Head over to Paul Bert for funkier, more varied items. Hit Dauphine for great furniture and decorative pieces that aren't quite the bank-breakers you find at Biron. For a purely browsing experience you can't beat Biron. Truly magnificent things there. Friendly merchants, as well, but do try to speak a little French if you can. It greases the wheels.

Enjoy a stroll through this market. It is an interesting blend of antiques, collectables, and art. There is one section where the artists themselves have an area on the back alley that is quite good. Chatted with a couple of them, and it was quite informative.

I am a lover of Art Nouveau period art works and impressionism. There are many antiques shops in the Marche Biron that specialize in both of these type of art works. We were enchanted by one dealer, the Violin d'Ingres (english translation is "hobby") who specializes in an artist who created bonze and glass sculptures of dancing musical instruments expressed through the feminine form.
These sculptures are done using bronze and glass.

Stay away from Rosette Ridel, Objets D'art - Meubles. Thomas Mayneris is a very dishonest dealer. I made a large purchase with him and my antiques
arrived in the US broken and missing pieces. He arranged shipping and insurance and the insurance wasn't honored. No one paid for the damage that was done. I've had wonderful experience with other dealers in Le Marche Biron.
