A large partly covered market with fresh fish, meats, veg etc. Stall have a variety of wares, some decent shoes/clothes on some, definitely worth a visit

Upmarket market with some prices to match. Two fish stallos very good, lots of high quality veg and more shoes that you can shake a stick at. Can be very busy in July and Aug buut quiet with fewer stalls in winter.

Good place to visit on a rainy day as the market is under a roof. Good place to buy the kind of food you will not find in a supermarket, although prices are generally higher. Most of the cheese offered is local, however the north of France is not the best place to find the top French cheese.

We do enjoy a proper French Market. And this was absolutely amazing. The quality and variety of produce on offer just had to be seen to be believed. Prices while not cheap (France is not a cheap country full stop) were highly competitive. Go on a Saturday as we did. Not only is the covered market open but the local flea market is in town.

Every Thursday morning. Unlike some English markets which are pretty tatty this town has a huge variety of clothes, jewellery, and fresh produce as well as the usual jolly junk. Don’t miss it
