Kolding, one of the largest city in Denmark. The center of the city offers a large area with pedestrian streets and quaint alleys. The City offers a huge variety of different shops. There are often events in the city as jazz in the streets during the summer, Culture Night and markets.

I hope it comes more shops so people could spent more time in the down town, right now it seems only take an hour or two so you can complete the trip.

We stayed a week in a vacation rental apartment above a clock shop on the pedestrian mall in downtown Kolding. Very good spot. Plenty of history and charm, but also plenty of good restaurants, fashionable boutiques, galleries, historical (and new) buildings, a well-stocked grocery store...More

From a nice lake and historic manor stop the hill, to a downtown with a variety of interesting shops, I was pleasantly surprised at all of the possibilities. Two outdoor store stocked for serious campers and hikers get high marks.

Very cozy city center. Nice place to stroll and the shops we went to had very nice and friendly staff. There was a halloween theme so carved jack o'laterns everywhere. Gave a lot of atmosphere to the place

have to say on walking around Kolding my first thoughts were it was too quiet. However lovely, safe feel to the place, lots of nice bars and restaurants and nice by the canal.

The city centre of the small city of Kolding has a pedestrian walking street with shops and restaurants. It is nice, but not exactly a special attraction in itself. Koldinghus is near the centre and can be visited before or after a shopping or dining...More

The walking street in Downtown Kolding is worth a visit. A good variety of shops. The nearby streets are also worth a look around to get a feel for this lovely town.
