Bokrijk is the perfect place for. A stroll thru the old times. Beautiful old farms are placed in their historic landscape. Seen it in other counties in Europe but never at this scale with attention for the landscape around. Don't miss the small old town to bring variety. But most of all enjoy the journey and the stories by the... More

The museum is run by the local governement in a very amateuristic way and tries to show the way of life around the turn of the 19th to 20th century. Very little has changed and due to budget constraints many of the exhibited dewllings are in poor shape.

Beautiful place to walk or ride your bike. Amazing garden full of diversity. A really cool 'walk through water' path where lots of birds come swimming towards you. Guaranteed fun!

Very nice historical place. You will be submerged back in the past. Understanding a lot better how things went then. Very nice and interesting to do with children.

Truly recommended! Great fun for young and old. It really sparks curiosity in every person. Visit if you want to know how flemish people lived over 100 years ago. We visited with two kids who love video games and tv, but they felt like time travellers and loved every minute of our visit.

Went there with a group of family, ages 4 to 60, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The adults the various type of historical houses and crafts and the children the hands on experiences and playground. Beautiful grounds well maintained. Had lunch which was reasonable priced and very good with craft beers and local produce.

We were very surprised what people get to see in Bokrijk. It is very interesting as well as for adults, as for children. Very clean park and surroundings !

It's a place that you can easily spend a whole day and still haven't seen enough. It makes you feel you traveled through time since the houses and the buildings are authentic and people who work there represent scenes of life so successfully, I'd go back again any time!!!

Lovely place. Came here with 5 and 7 year old. They loved the playground. Could not believe how big the place is. Lots of things to do and is free. Will definitely come here again .

This is a massive place with loads to see and do. Some lovely old houses and a nice pub serving food (rather pricey!) Actors at the site and activities such as pottery, sewing etc to do as well. Children are free to get in and a great playground outside before you leave. Parking 5 Euros!
