We discovered les Grandes Marges on our way to Valensole.
We decided to stop for a drink and simply loved the place.
It is extremely beautiful, calm and clean. The amount of flowers, lavender and olive trees surrounding the place makes it even more special.
We tried the lavender ice cream and of course bought a few items from the gift shop.
It's a family owned business and they go the extra mile in order to satisfy you and make sure you feel at ease and refreshed.
We went there twice during our latest trip and I am sure I will visit again.

This shop had a good selection of Provençal things, thou quite pricey. Customer service was great. There were also served coffee, soft drinks and sorbets, nothing else. Lavender sorbet was delicious!
If you are hungry and want some food or sandwiches, please bring your own picnic and eat it around the tables at yard.
Toilets were in good shape. And sights are pretty!

My husband and I stopped in here to take a look at the shop. There were plenty of different lavender products to choose from, but also other gift items including some very pretty tisane tins. I believe that they offer wine on the patio as well, but we ordered the lavender sorbet and almond ice cream since it was very hot outside. They were both delicious.

There is somewhat limited parking here. If you plan to leave your car to take a closer look at the fields, I'd suggest reparking at Terraroma, a little farther on the D6, which has more spaces.

This is a great family owned store right on the main road that winds through the Valensole Lavender Fields.

They have a huge assortments of lavender soaps and washes and oils, same with olive products. Also many types of local food items and condiments and the people working here could not be nicer! We had a wonderful time here.

The honey they sell is also very good. It's a nice shop off the beaten bath in the middle of a lavender field!

If you're coming from the city of Valensole, you'll find this after the Angelvin field. This one is organic so you can go ahead stick your noses on them flowers and if you get lucky, several lemon like butterflies fly away in a courting dance not minding you at all. Beautiful hill of purple. Parking is free from the other side of the road.
