Beautiful church with amazing tall tower. Both exterior and interior are just amazing. In the courtyard there are well kept, full with flowers graves. This worship place deserves a visit, it is something special.

we a group of 4 fell in love with maria Alm particularly the church . We stayed at Alpenland Sporthotel with its excellent smiling staff and service - Gorgeous view of the mountains and grassy plains from our window early morning.
The church and its grounds were beautiful.
Special mention should be made about its tourist infomation office - with the Hochkonig card we got the services of our excellent guide Mr Erli who gave us the most amazing day in Maria Alm - he took pains to see to our safety while hiking the whole day . Every bit of nature was brought to life for us -from flowers to mushrooms-wild edible and toxic. We thank him for our best day in Maria Alm.

The Wallfahrtskirche has the highest steeple in the region and is the most impressive building in Maria Alm.

We have been to this church before and it never fails to disappoint. This year we went over Easter. The choir was inspirational, and the ornate interior of the church with the decorative chandeliers was a delight to behold. The church has appeal for all people not just church devotees. It is a photographers smorgasboard and very calming to visit.
It is surrounded by a small cemetery, lovingly maintained and highly decorated with
plants and flowers.

A pilgrimage church, surely the most attractive in this area inside and out, and used by the population not only for catholic services but also for concerts. Originally late gothic with a tower 76 meters high, it's baroque inside, not too opulent. Many centuries ago Maria Alm consisted only of the church, a house for the priest, and a tavern ("Almerwirt"), it still exists.

A beautiful, atmospheric church right in the centre of Maria Alm. Well kept churchyard lit by candles at night. Stunning. Do go and see it.

This church sits right in the center of the beautiful town of Maria Alm. It is absolutely like a picture postcard. Although it is quaint and unadorned on the outside, the interior is surprising. Inside it is VERY ornate with gilding, mosaics, statues, etc... that would rival any Italian church. We were lucky enough to see a FREE string quartet concert in the church that was absolutely wonderful. Seats are original (OLD) and VERY uncomfortable however.

This is a quaint village church, which has the highest steeple in Austria. The adjacent cemetery is full of beautiful wraught iron christian crosses and other catholic tomb monuments. There is also a very old rector house adjacent to the Church (ROMAN CATHOLIC).

Even if you're not saying in town but happen to be driving through, it's worth a stop. The inside is stunning as are the grounds are around the church.
