Ein wunderschöner Turn

Von außen sehr imposant. Leider war es uns nicht möglich das Innere zu besuchen. Dafür hat sich der Turm im Lichte der untergehenden Sonne sehr gut als Fotomotiv geeignet. Meines Erachtens jedenfalls einen Besuch wert.

DAS Judenburger Wahrzeichen

Bis vor einigen Jahrzehnten noch bewohnt geriet der Stadtturm dann, zu schnell aufs Abstellgleis gestellt zu werden. Doch im Gegenteil: Die Stadt hat Geld in die Hand genommen und mit privaten Investoren eines der modernsten Planetarien Österreichs in den Turm gebaut. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall sehr!!!! Auch ist man gut beraten, zumindest einen Teil über die Treppen und Zwischengeschosse zu Fuß zu gehen. Man erfährt hier viel Wissenswertes über den Turm und die Judenburger Geschichte.

wunderbarer Blick über die Dächer von Judenburg

Auch für eilige Touristen empfiehlt sich der Besuch des Sternenturms. Hoch über den Dächern von Judenburg kann man den Blick schweifen lassen und bei einem Glas Wein oder Limonade entspannte Zeit verbringen. Die freundliche Dame am Empfang war uns sogar bei der Reservierung eines Tisches im Restaurant behilflich.
