I visited Capt. Nick's in June and again in July. I went on piano night and was thoroughly entertained by Marc -- I believe he's the owner of the bar -- he's also the talent. The way he performed was mesmerizing and I cannot wait to return to piano night again in a couple of weeks. He's charismatic, musically talented,... More

I love disco music! It's optional on whether or not to wear costumes, but it's always encouraged! I found it hard to believe that a place like this would have disco.

I went here a few times during my week long stay on the island. Drinks are reasonably priced and they aren't weak handed. I definitely recommend this place.

Don't miss the piano bar nights with Marc, the owner, performing. He's both super talented and very witty and wacky.

Idk what that other reviewer is talking about with regards to their food. They don't serve food, they have Fatheads Sushi which is not affiliated with them serve some of the best sushi ever Thursday through Sunday in the summer. They host great bands and the bar is just fun all around. I always enjoy going to Nicks.

Food is sub par at best. Been there several times and had fun a couple times. Could be a good place but the owner is a narcissistic creep. He stiffed a band I went to see because his bouncer started a fight. I will not return. Pay people what they are owed buddy.

Block Island is the place to be when Captain Nick's holds it's annual Music Fest (June 10-15 in 2014). Each hour, beginning at 5:00 pm, they host a new band. The six day long event showcases 48 bands in total. Every band is different, some are regional, others from all across the country. It is a super relaxed atmosphere with... More

We lucked out walking by when the RI army band was jamming at Capt Nick's. Full horn section, wild gutarist and a great female singer. These young patriots can rock! During this music fest week a new band plays every hour from 5PM on. They had Susi Bob rolling some mad crispy shrimp rolls for $10 and then burgers &... More
