If you take a right off the ferry it's the first beach you'll run into, which is convenient. There was alot of seaweed when we went yesterday, so you may have to walk around a bit to find a spot with clearer water. I was a little disappointed that the shower house was 0.7 miles up the road, I was... More

This is the perfect beach to spend the day at if you're coming over on the ferry and don't want to have to carry a bunch of stuff. The sand is clean, the water is not too wavy and not too deep. There are lifeguards. There's a snack bar so you don't have to pack food. There are bathrooms, showers,... More

This beach was right across from our Inn, the Darius Inn, and made for very easy access and enjoyment. Whether for a few minutes or to walk the entire length of the beach, it was stunning. There was no litter on this beach. Just beautiful!

This is a nice stretch of beach. The only issue we ran into was the wind. Even though it wasn't that windy the sand was flying. This beach is easily accessible from town.

Great for families, with its concession building and changing rooms and showers. But the waves are even better for bodysurfing just a bit north at Scotch Beach.

Beautiful beach that was uncrowded and relaxing. The water was warm and wonderful to swim in. IF you don't need beverage service, like at Ballard's, then this is the place to come .
