We knew it would be a costly visit, but Ballard's is so convenient to the ferry terminal. Our last day, we biked from our house there and spent a good part of the day. Pros: beach chairs, food, drinks available. Cons: prices, and absolutely miserable...More

Close to most Inns and hotels. Great beach, lots of food and all day live music. A great way to spend the day.

An over crowded and over priced beach meat market. Where people have so much to drink that they don't notice how bad the bands are. The fries were good!

So this beach just does nothing but fill up all day long from tourists coming off the ferries. After about 12, it was awful. There was no place to walk, and we had to move because people joined us under our umbrella without an invitation....More
