The Southeast Lighthouse had some beautiful grounds that offer an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean and the wind turbines that are being installed off shore. The view from the lighthouse is even better. There is a food truck that stays there during the day, but if you brought your lunch this makes great picnic spot.

Beautiful building, beautiful location! Lots of photo ops! The only way to go up the lighthouse is with a guided tour for $10, which I would have done if I had the time... But there was a 20 minute wait until the next tour... Definitely worth going to see. It's a short walk from Mohegan Bluffs, so do both at... More

I'm not sure how much to tell you about it (though, everyone else's reviews probably tell you enough to interest you in stopping). It has some amazing history to it, and luckily it was saved from a sad fate, proving what locals and volunteers can do if they make a real effort. Hear the stories in-person. You can come to... We always stop here on our bike rides. The view is fantastic and there are porta johns and the snack truck right in the lot.

Read up on the SouthEast Lighthouse before visiting and you will appreciate its beauty and utility. A must see for everyone. Great food truck sits on the site as well.

The first offshore wind turbines are being installed off of little Block Island. This is a huge milestone in renewable energy in the US. You can see a little bit of history in the making while you visit a little bit of early american history with the light house. The light house is beautiful but I bet when it was... More

The lighthouse is small although views and area around expansive. The tour up to the top is fabulous! Our tour guide was knowledgable and knew just how much info to pass on - my 8 & 11 year old loved it. The stairs are quite steep and circular - they get steeper and narrower as you go higher. Definitely a... More

Get here by bike and see the whole island from every angle. The lighthouse is very well preserved and the docent was able to give a little history lesson when we stopped in the gift shop.

The Southeast Lighthouse tour is very inexpensive and so worth it. The tour guide was very knowledgable and pleasant he treats it like he built it himself 😊

we rented bikes to ride around the island, stumbled across this lighthouse. What a nice view. You can go up to the top for $10.00
