Fun Walk.....BUT!

Awesome view if you can get down to the bottom. There are warning signs that it is strenuous, so be careful if you have health issues.

Rode my bike (good workout) and went early before it got hot (or crowded). Very relaxing on the beach and I enjoyed walking in the surf, collecting colored stones. Even though each beach here is unique, I think Mohegan Bluffs is the one that most people associate with BI. You have to do the stairs if you want to fully... More

We walked from downtown and our legs were burning by the end of the day! It's a "hike" but also a once in a lifetime experience. The stairs...the sea. It's quite something. Stop at the Spring House on your walk home for a cocktail in one of the Adirondack chairs.

Beautiful place to go see in the island. Walking all the way sudden is easy, coming back up is the real challenge.

The Mohegan Bluffs are a great place to visit and even take a swim in ocean!! Takes a few minutes to go down the stairs and do not rush down, save your energy for the climb back up.

I thought there would be more of a hike but it was a long staircase down to a beach. It was fun to walk along the shore over the rocks and watch people coating themselves in clay. The cliff face is very cool looking as well. We went on a summer weekend so it was pretty crowded with teenagers and... More

Great views! We didn't get a chance to climb down this trip, definitely climbing down next visit! Make sure to carry water bottles, climb back up looks tiring..

The 100 steps back to the top are brutal, but well worth it! There is a rocky beach at the bottom of the Bluffs, plenty of people sunbathing and swimming. The view of the bluffs is absolutely stunning!

Beautiful and relaxing beach. Water was too cold to go in, but strolling along the beach and checking out the awesome scenery was enough. Block island is an exciting little island to explore. The 1-hour ferry ride over was also a highlight!

We hiked(it's a tough hilly hike), many people rent bikes or mopeds.when you get to the location you have to walk down MANY steps to get to the beach. It's not easy but we'll worth it. Then you have to walk back up...not for those who are not in good physical condition! But it is a gorgeous location.
