Mohegan Bluffs is one of the best place to visit on the East Coast. Walk down the steps to a majestic beach in the middle of the ocean Private and pick up starfish. It is a joy!

This place is very scenic. The waves crashing onto the rocks is awesome to see. The cliffs being eroded by the ocean are really cool to see. It's a easy walk down with well maintained stairs with multiple landings. Hard part is going back up the stairs if your out of shape. At the bottom of the stairs you can... More

If you go to Block Island and leave without seeing Mohegan Bluffs, you'll be missing out on one of the most spectacular sites on the island. The bluffs are high, rugged, and beautiful. Be sure to bring your camera and take photos from every angle. You can walk down the stairs (there are many!) to get to the beach. Be... More

Whether you hoof it, bike, moped or or cab it - don't leave Block Island without going there. As with everywhere on BI there is parking and bike racks available as well as port a johns. The steps are many and steep but VERY manageable and well maintained. Unless you have very bad knees or mobility issues you can do... More

You can easily ride your bike, or drive to the Mohegan Bluffs, from downtown Block Island. There is a light house, opens at 12:00 Saturdays, and Sundays. You can walk down a long flight of stairs to the beach, and take a swim in the ocean. If you visit Block Island, the Bluffs, should be part of your trip.

Easy to find and close to the ferry. We ate here after a bike ride to the North Point Lighthouse including a hike through the loose sand. We were hungry! I had lobster bisque and my wife had New England ClamWin Chowder, both were very good. Enjoyed a pint Joe's High Octane dark beer which is made on the premises.... More
